  • Is your character part of a unique species you've made yourself, one that can't possibly be represented by our current traits? By creating a custom species, you can bridge the gap, letting you play out something non-standard.

Custom Species are kept in the Glossary, and are listed publicly for all to see. However, depending on your preferences, custom species can either be free for everyone to use, limited to only those you approve of, or exclusive for your use.

A final custom species looks as follows:

    Custom Species

Description: A brief description of your custom species. What do they look like? Where are they from? Should be around a paragraph
Availability: Anyone/Discuss With Owner/Only Owner and People Invited
    Owner: Your Name

This is a custom species. Rules for usage are mentioned above; however, custom species are intended to depict a specific species (or otherwise) and their lore must be complied with.

When using a custom species, players give up 3 advantages from your normal 9 limit, and instead gain the ability to choose three advantages and an equal number of disadvantages from the advantages and disadvantages chosen for the custom species. Players using a custom species should note which species in the 'Custom Species' field of the application. Custom species can be taken multiple times.
