  • Our Discord server serves as the primary method of casual conversation and community involvement here at Starlit Avenue. Here you can talk about media you enjoy, share art and plot ideas for your characters, and chat with the community at large. Out server can be joined by clicking the discord icon at the top right or bottom right of the page.
Standard Discord Rules Apply. Anything you'd expect to find in most other servers applies here. We don't allow spam, advertising other sites, the use of slurs or discriminatory language, etc. Spoilers should be under spoiler tags.

Your site username and Discord username should match so that people know who you are. If your Discord username does not match, ask the staff to give you a server nickname.

Keep Conversations to the Correct Channel. A casual mention of a new movie would be fine in #general, but any sort of extended conversation should be in #media. Similarly, discussion of RL events should be kept to #real-world.

Keep NSFW content in NSFW channels. Even if we are an 18+ site, not everyone wants to see NSFW content (especially not all the time). NSFW images, emoji, and chat should be kept in NSFW channels. Similarly, while we are 18+, the server is not a place for sharing porn.

Keep the server friendly and comfortable. We are a community, and we should treat each other as such. The discord should be open and welcoming to everyone. Please do not discuss dark/disturbing topics or heavy personal problems.

If you feel uncomfortable with a topic of conversation, it's perfectly acceptable to ask for a topic change. Please be explicit that you'd like a topic change; hinting or being subtle will not always work. Be respectful of such requests and move on to other topics.

In #real-world channel, please tag your posts with content warnings if you are bringing up a sensitive topics (death, politics, etc.) and put such content under a spoiler tag.
