Personality
Cautious but curious: Alain is a cautious type, and generally keeps people at arms length and keep to himself for that matter. He does however like to stay tuned to whatever happens to be going on within the supernatural community, all the while learning what he can about specific entities
Friendly: His cautious nature doesn’t mean he isn’t personable though. Alain is friendly to people as opposed to being cold and standoffish. It wouldn’t suit him to immediately brush people off. At the end of the day, Alain does want to build genuine lasting relationships with people. Should Alain accept and trust someone he’ll remain loyal to them to a fault.
Wolf: He has all of the memories and instincts of the hound he merged with. They've since sorted themselves out with the wolf becoming something of a more traditional werewolf. He has a much more complete understanding of his abilities, and functions as a werewolf.

Alain was born into an ordinary person living a fairly ordinary life. He had a younger sister, was planning on joining the military right out of high school. Everything seemed to be right on track until the incident. He was coming back home from a party when a truck ran a red light hitting him. For all intents and purposes he should have died right there, but a stray hunting hound found him. Not wanting to return to his master, the demon made a deal. Not a possession, but a merger that fused the two of them together into a new being.
He'd wake up in the hospital six days later, miraculously fully recovered from his injuries. It was considered a miracle, even made local papers. Alain was unsure of what to make of it at first until he manifested his abilities in front of his sister. Together, the two of them began looking into the supernatural. Diving into this rabbit hole eventually led to their discovery of a small town in Oregon that was supposedly a hub of supernatural entities. He currently works as a mechanic in Polaris Pass.
Fast Forward:
Alain briefly stepped away from Polaris Pass to sort out his whole wolf situation more fully. Upon gaining an understanding of the hound who merged with him, Alain became a somewhat more traditional werewolf along with some rather unique powers.
