Personality
Caelestis: Caelestis is trusting to a worrying extent. While wary around strangers, it becomes almost obsessively devoted when a bond is made. From there, it’s easy to convince Caelestis to believe in something fictional. Its internal logic system is confusing and changes in reaction to everything around it. This lack of common sense mainly stems from the only logic Caelestis knows: dream logic. That is to say, it goes by incredibly inconsistent rules that only make sense from its current and immediate perspective.
It wishes to be loved and will obey commands to receive that affection… Mostly. Caelestis has trouble focusing. It often needs to be reminded of what it’s supposed to do; otherwise, it’ll get distracted by its own wants. Unless it’s focused on something it badly wants, it’ll fall into its daydreams or wander off to admire whatever catches its eyes.
People frequently interpret this as Caelestis being dumb, childish, or just an intelligent animal. What they don’t understand is that Caelestis, while shy, is always collecting information. It may not be the information it should be collecting, but it’s information nonetheless. It feels an extreme pride when it points out something no one else considered, all because it didn’t approach things from a typical angle.

Jao: Jao wants to uproot the status quo to plant the seeds of a better, less rigid structure. It hates the world around it because it's a nonsensical mess. The people in power force rules onto a generalized idea of their population, only leading to a minority thriving. It tries to portray itself as an aggressive proponent of anarchism, but in reality, it’s rather timid. Instead, it prefers to learn from philosophical debates and essays on the different ways a free society could look like.
Out of the three, Jao finds humans the most terrifying. Really, anything sapient that isn’t part of its system is frightening. People aren't simple equations. They are chaotic creatures, each one living with its own thoughts, wants, fears, and many other aspects near impossible to decode. Most frustrating is that it wants to be human likes its parents, but it's constantly reminded it can never be one.
So Jao takes a different approach: be as unlikable as possible to cover up its social awkwardness and shyness. It would rather be considered a purposely shitty person than mess up at being friendly through sheer social clumsiness. It sees it as a kindness to itself and others, despite how awful it feels awful when its hostility scares people away. These issues make Jao avoid people, with it rarely coming out except for circumstances involving its interests or protecting themselves.

Myst: Myst barely tries to be human. It reins itself just enough to not get Constellation killed, but ultimately, it believes that freedom is essential to a happy life. It wishes to run through forests, hunting prey and living wherever it finds interesting.
If it follows the rules, it's to benefit itself and, most importantly, Constellation; otherwise, fuck it. It’ll shove itself into any situation for fun, strain tensions, then see how far it can push it towards its breaking point before backing off. Its perfect world is one where anyone can do whatever they want. People should live the best version of their lives. If they have an issue with someone else's way of living? Then that will be a fun show for Myst to eat popcorn to.
Thoughts that Myst hasn't come to itself practically don't exist at all. When told to change its mind about anything, it loses its cool and becomes irritable. Results range from loud and confrontational to sulky and withdrawn. Only those close to it can convince it to change its mind or begrudgingly go against its decision.
Myst loves people. The dynamic human species is its favorite. One second they travel by sentient four-legged powerhouses of death, next, they travel within inorganic four-wheeled powerhouses of death. On an individual scale, they're all over the place. There are infinite layers to a person that it loves peeling back. Humans are as far from orderly as a creature can get, and Myst revels in it.

- Core Advantage
- Constellations' body is a portal into their own dream dimension, which is also their true self. They can turn the entirety or sections of themselves into a gaseous, nebulae-like cloud to envelop an object or organic entity around their size, preferably smaller. This portal can only be opened for around 10 seconds. Once it closes, a few seconds is needed before reuse. This form will glow through clothing, allowing them to use the portal through layers. Additionally, they can eat these objects for sustenance by slowly draining them of their emotions, memories, and dreams, dissolving them in the process and adding them to their dimension.
The dimension is 300 square meters, which is a bit over the size of an average tennis court. Objects stored within are in stasis, meaning they don’t change after being stored. For example, a plant inside Constellation will never grow or die, and a ticking bomb won’t resume ticking until it’s taken out.
Taking an object out is the same as putting an object in, with Constellation turning gaseous and pulling the object out. If a lot is stored within, it can take some time to summon the wanted object.
If Constellation is asleep or meditating, they can access this storage in its dreams. This helps greatly in analyzing what is stored and organizing the room. Meditation allows Constellation some awareness of the outside world with heavily dulled senses.
- Bonus
- When becoming emotional or engaging in the arts, Constellation's hair and eyes will glow as it cries a large amount of pastel rainbow tears. Can use their tears for painting, drawing, writing, etc., in various colors with no special effects.
- Nerfs and Flavor
- Mental Vulnerability: Psychic abilities have twice the effect or ease of use on Constellation; similarly, their pocket dimension can be accessed through psychic and dream abilities.
People with soul, mind, or emotion-reading abilities can pick up on multiple minds existing in the body, although the boundaries between Caelestis, Jao, and Myst can be blurred or solidified based on their current mindsets.

There was never an exact time where Caelestis came into being. It transitioned from being little more than an idea to having as much sentience as an animal. A final push was needed for it to become sapient.
To become real.
That push came from two humans part of a covert agency for containing the supernatural taking a relaxing vacation from work, their names being Roland Agnes and Leila [Last Name]. What was supposed to be a short trip led to them being missing for just over two weeks. Upon returning to work, they had to explain why they had a small child with glowing eyes that suspiciously looked like the both of them.
The baby was kept by the agency, as it refused to leave Roland and Leila’s sides. It took some time for the agency to learn of Jao and Myst and them being other versions of Caelestis. The name "Constellation" was assigned to address them as a group. As much as Constellation loved, worshiped even, Leila and Roland, it became increasingly clear they couldn’t tolerate living in such a stifling environment where they were always observed. But before Leila and Roland could step in, Caelestis lost it.
It lost control of its hunger and escaped to eat. When it came to, it had done more than just injure a person. Leila and Roland knew Constellation would lose all their freedoms. They would be treated worse than a rabid animal for study. So, with great pains to create a clean story, they insisted that they lost track of Constellation.
In reality, Roland referred them to Starlit Avenue, one of many supernatural communities he learned about and kept hidden from his job. He gave them enough for three months of rent in cash, then advised them to keep a low profile, with heavy emphasis on it not being a bloody profile.
Constellation has become a bit of a recluse in Starlit Avenue, keeping mostly to themselves. When they do leave, it's generally Myst fronting, drawing eyes to its flashy clothing and theatrical personality.
Its money comes from writing at public libraries and publishing them under a pseudonym. Their online persona has made a name for itself in surrealism communities for its webnovels, webcomics, poetry, illustrations, and combinations of those. Donations from fans allowed it to slowly furnish their home and publish.
