Personality
Bastard Cat. KC was made and raised to be a brat. As such she likes to cause problems on purpose, and see how far she can push someone before they snap on her. She might be a bit of a masochist.
Wanderlust. KC is curious and explorative. Even when she can say no to an idea, she finds it hard to resist the urge to try new things.
Eager to Please. Despite her highly independent nature, KC is still a NEK0 and as such she wants to be liked and admired. So if she genuinely feels like she is going to lose the affection of someone she holds in a high regard, she will bend over backwards (sometimes literally) to try and keep them from leaving her.

- Nonmeowtonian Liquid - KC has a specially designed musculoskeletal system. Her body is flexible to the extreme, allowing her to bend and contort, compress and stretch in ways no human can. At the same time, her bones are nigh impossible to break. This does not prevent her from suffering other forms of damage, though blunt force tends to be less traumatic than it would otherwise be.

KC was created much like other NEK0s, in a lab at the request of a wealthy benefactor. She was unique however in the special requests that her future owner made for her: that she be made inhumanly flexible and that she be made to look like his college sweetheart. This second request seemed the odder of the two, but he was willing to pay handsomely for the custom appearance.
She lived much of her life with her owner, locked away in the estate on his vineyard. She danced in the custom studio he had built just for her. She watched movies with him in his home theater. Occasionally, she would be allowed to leave with him when they went on dates. It was a good life, if a boring one.
Late in March of 2021, KC got out of her room while her owner was away. The control chip in her neck shocked her as it was meant to once she got past the perimeter, but she kept going. Her owner had taught her to enjoy pain, so this was a walk in the park for KC.
Eventually the chip died, fried by its own electrical currents. That's when her wanderlust took over. KC traveled far north, living mostly unnoticed at the fringes of society. It was all so exciting, being free of her home and without a chaperone to tell her what she could and couldn't do. She met a lot of people along the way until she reached Polaris Pass, a place that fascinated her because of how many strange looking people there were.
