Personality
Hyper-competitive: If there's one thing that Kirikak taught him, it's that winning is the only thing that matters. There's almost no low he won't sink to, or anything he won't do so long as it means he wins. After all, people like winners.. Right?
Blunt: He isn't particularly concerned with how people see him, after all he knows what he is. However, his new found freedom means he's also not afraid to tell people exactly what he thinks of them. If they don't like it, that's their problem.
Cold: Mako has been mistreated, lied to, and generally abused for most of life. All of which has left him rather short on trust and care for other people, preferring instead to keep them at a distance where they can't hurt him. Physically or otherwise. Those few people that he does get close to, though.. He'd gladly die for them.

- Disadvantages
- Disrupts Electronics, Elemental Weakness (Holy), Magically Dependent, Imminent, Weakspot (Horns),
- Spellcasting
- Spellcasting Theme: Electricity
- Core Advantage
- Ride The Lightning: By channelling his lightning, or any form of electrical discharge into himself, Makoto is able to effectively double his movement speed. Doing this also makes him intangible, and gives him the ability to fly. His appearance when he does also shifts, resembling a white bolt of lightning. While he has some control over where he goes in this form, it is far from perfect, and often difficult for him to control, especially when using electrical discharge other then his own.
- Bonus
- Removed a disadvantage
- Nerfs and Flavor
- His lightning is white.
Monster Form is a 15 foot tall white wolf.

Makoto was born into a family of Raiju in a small village of yokai somewhere in Japan. In all, the first few years of his life were uneventful and honestly, pretty good. Naturally, this wasn't going to last.
One day, when he was about 4 or 5, he noticed someone poking around the village, and he decided to go investigate. Before he even really knew what was happening, he was being dragged through a portal to somewhere, and introduced to his new "family". That being Kirikak and the various other yokai that she had purchased, kidnapped, or other obtained over the years. At first, Makoto tried everything he could think of to escape. That only got him beaten.
Of course, Kirikak and her ilk hadn't just kidnapped him for the fun of it. She'd kidnapped him for a reason, so he could fight. And as he grew older, she began to train him, treating him as her attack dog.. And keeping him on a short chain. Sure occasionally he would maul one of the guards, or lash out with extreme violence. But over time she was able to channel that anger and violence outwards. Towards everyone else.
Sure he wasn't technically old enough to fight, but a few bribes and forged documents saw him make his way into the arena. And he was actually pretty okay at it, even winning a few fights here or there. Sure he wasn't nearly as successful as some of the big shots, but he carved out a nice little slot for himself. And winning fights in the arena stopped the worst of the abuse. For him, at least.
All things come to an end though, and Kirikak's end was well deserved. She was publicly beaten and humiliated in the arena by one Lumi Argent, then Lumi and her friends raided Kirikak's compound where he, and the other yokai, had been living. All of the sudden, the only life he'd ever known was gone, he wasn't allowed to fight anymore, and he was now free.
He's not entirely sure what to make of any of this, or what the hells he's supposed to do now that he can't do the one thing he was apparently good at. But with Miruku and Mugen making their way to the surface, he's begrudgingly made his way to Polaris Pass as well. If only to see what all the fuss was about.
