- Pink skin with red markings on face, tall with longer than average arms. His sides and back are covered in black fur, while his arms are covered in fur with a tiger’s coloration and pattern. He has a nasty burn scar in the middle of his back.

- Mugen looks like a perfectly normal Asian teenager albeit a little taller than average. While sleepers cannot see his tail they may still feel eyes on him from his general direction if it is looking at him.
Personality
High Walled Castle in the Sky: To put it lightly, Mugen has been through more than anyone his age ever should. This has resulted in him being cold when it comes to dealing with people. Outside of the very small circle of people he trusts, he makes a point of remaining a fairly closed book. He’s sociable enough, but distant and quiet. His perception of a relationship, and other people’s will more than likely be very different.
Snarky and Cryptic: He’s a teenager, so it should go without saying the boy can be witty when he wants. In understanding his nature as a bringer of ill fortune, he is also cryptic when he speaks. Words have power, and he has a way with them. Whether he’s being nice or not, Mugen has a tendency to add a menacing level of weight to some of his statements.
Helpful in his own way: Mugen hates to see other people struggling. Despite his trust issues, if he sees someone who needs help, he will help them without question. That being said, it doesn’t mean he’s going to just become friends over a singular act of kindness. He would prefer it if people didn't acknowledge his assistance.

- Curse Magic: Mugen can invoke ill fortune and curses through a variety of methods.
- Core Advantage
- Clouds of Misfortune: Mugen is able to generate and control magical clouds capable of reducing the physical attributes or senses of a given target by half and in exchange doubling his own corresponding attributes. In terms of senses, it is his electromagnetic sense that receives the boost. The effects last for five minutes unless Mugen is incapacitated or deactivates it early. He can only activate one of these cloud effects on a person at a time. If he targets another person he must use a different effect.
Tiger- A large ominous storm cloud. Reduces strength and durability
Monkey- A smaller fast moving gray cloud. Reduces speed and agility
Snake- A wispy thin cloud. Reduces regeneration and reflexes
Racoon dog- A slower rolling black cloud. Reduces two random senses

Migi and Hidari: Mugen’s familiars are a pair of Bakezori capable of shifting into any style of shoe he desires. They are sapient and unfortunately for everyone are capable of speech. They can also act independently from him, and shift little limbs, eyes, and mouths even when worn. When worn on his feet they grant him the Graceful trait.

Mugen and his mother lived with a number of other Yokai in a hidden village in Japan. His early childhood was about as average as it got within their space. Unfortunately, they were discovered by human poachers. Some were killed, most were captured. His mother was killed defending him and the village. He was among the captured, a nue cub was a rarity and he’d fetch a decent price on an auction block.
When he was sold, he was sold at an exorbitant price to some middle of the road demon noble. The noble in turn gifted him to another demon named Kirikak, a former gladiator in a place called the Pit. He was to become a powerful fighter under her. Her training methods were horrific. She’d get rid of the ones she didn’t like or found useless, and keep the ones she liked in slightly better standing. Mugen was favored for his strength, along with two others. A raiju named Makoto, and a white cat named Miruku. There was another girl who wasn’t well liked and frankly treated worse than anyone else who managed to get the better of their owner and earn her freedom.
A few months went by, with the abuse intensifying. Then the compound gained a new member, Luminance Argent. She was different from other demons who joined them. She was kind, and actually taught them things. She would eventually go on to topple Kirikak’s little empire and free him and the other children.
With nothing left to go back to, Mugen is living with his liberator. He’s also making frequent trips to Polaris Pass, to figure out what sort of life he could have now.
