Personality
Sly as a Fox: Being a kitsune, she's a natural trickster and loves to mess with people. This can range from her just generally being a pest, to actively causing problems on purpose because she's bored. Probably shouldn't be trusted.
"Tough": Being both a "samurai" and essentially hired muscle, she tends to act a lot tougher then she is. Not only is she often unwilling to seek help or show weakness, she also tends to be rather boastful and quick to show off if given the opportunity.
Desperate: She doesn't quite know what Ravenna has planned but she's willing to do almost anything to get her powers back.

Natsumi was born into a family of Kitsune in a small village in Japan. Growing up, she became fascinated with samurai, mostly from watching old Kurosawa films. Eventually, she'd start teaching herself how to fight, albeit with a bokken. Though given that this was a small, mostly rural, village there wasn't a lot going on, and while she did occasionally find work dealing with other trouble makers or stray animals, she also started to get bored.
Eventually decided to set off for somewhere that she could hone her skills, or at the very least do something more interesting then what she was doing in the small village. Eventually she ended up in Tokyo.
It was here that she'd actually start to make a name for herself, mostly by working as security for a few clubs, and even eventually as a body guard and enforcer for some yakuza members. Sure it wasn't the most glamours or even honorable work, but the money was good, and she was even able to learn a bit more about how to actually fight with katanas, even having one gifted to her.
Things were going pretty well for her, until she ran into one Ravenna Caius at a bar one night. A couple drinks and some drunken bets later, Natsumi let slip that she was actually a kitsune. She doesn't quite remember what happened after that, but she does know that when she woke up the next morning, she was mysteriously cut off from most of her powers. She isn't sure what happened, but she has a feeling that Ravenna is somehow responsible, or at the very least, knows something about what happened.
It took a while, but she's finally been able to track Ravenna down to Polaris Pass. And after enrolling at Olcott as a cover, all that's left is for Natsumi to hunt her down and get some answers. One way or another.
