Food Lover - Paprika absolutely loves food and cooking. He gets very excited talking about those kinds of thing and can easily get caught up rambling about them.
Aesthetically Driven - Paprika has a very carefully cultivated aesthetic. He is very committed to being dressed primarily in red and black, sometimes with copper highlights, and uses visual motifs based around fire, flowers, stripes, and small animals. He cares very deeply about this and can get quite hurt if it's insulted.
Skittish - While Paprika is extremely outgoing and friendly, he is also very, very skittish. He is more than aware that a stiff breeze could probably snap him in half and as such startles easily and gets very nervous around aggressive or intimidating people.

Paprika Fuoco, born as Joseph Penn, has had a very unremarkable life for someone as strange as he is. His parents were both fairly normal, too, but from a young age he seemed to know exactly who he was and what he wanted to do, deciding to change his name at 14. He started cooking in his father's restaurant during the summer while he was in high school and moved to Portland for culinary school immediately after graduating. He stayed there when he was offered a restaurant job immediately out of school, eventually moving on to start his own catering business. When his business wasn't quite as successful as he expected he was forced to relocate on a smaller scale, choosing Polaris Pass as his place to settle down.
He's still totally oblivious to the fact that anything supernatural exists. Despite how often he seems like something supernatural barely managing to pass as a human, he is one hundred percent mundane. He was barely even aware of the supernatural rumours surrounding the town when he moved.
