Crafty: Not just in the literal DIY sense, she’s always has some bizarre scheme up her sleeve. She’s under the impression she can puppet master her way out of trouble, this has yet to prove true.
Rose-stained Glasses: A lifelong fanfic reader, Reese fantasizes about being swept up in a world of romance and excitement. Deep down she knows life is not like the movies, but will never outwardly admit that.
Silly: She is a little bit of an oddball, drawn to all things novel. With zero filter, too many fun facts, and an inability to lie, conversations with Reese are definitely interesting. Reese marches to the beat of her own drum, paying little mind to social norms. At her core she's a performer who just wants to entertain others and herself with her own shenanigans.

Clarisse “Reese'' Ryusaki was the youngest of three siblings. Her father’s job as an engineer in the air force meant her family was constantly moving between different military bases around the world. While their mother was a kitsune who aged at an unnaturally slow rate, the siblings were effectively human as young children initially unaware of any supernatural heritage. It was a few months after moving to Portland when the whole truth came out.
She was eight when her brother accidentally used his powers in front of their dad. Of course, she wasn't there, all she knew is that everyone her family was fighting over something and she was just too young to understand. Her mother vanished for about a year, it was just the three siblings and their father. Reese spent that time blissfully unaware of any drama that may have unfolded.
When her mother did eventually return, both parents mutually agreed on a divorce. Her mother moved Polaris Pass with her two older siblings. At the time everyone assumed she was somehow human like their father so that's who she stayed with to lead a mundane life. A few years ago when visiting her siblings in Polaris Pass her sleeping streak was broken as she started to notice the weirdness around her, but being eleven this did not break her brain. Eventually her father got stationed out of country again and Reese, wanting the "real school experience", moved back with her mom and brother.
