Personality
Weary: Wednesday is tired. She carries herself lethargically and at a glance fails to muster much enthusiasm for anything.
Neurotic: If something can go wrong it probably will. Wednesday makes sure to always expect the worst, which can be useful sometimes, especially when she’s working with dangerous, volatile magic. But this also translates to a level of anxiety and she often struggles to stay calm when confronted with the unexpected.
Academic: Under all that moodiness, Wednesday is a true nerd at heart. The unknown and the unfamiliar is quick to grasp her interest, and any new form of magic she discovers is bound to have her theorising in the back of her brain. If only she had the time to pursue that further.
- Additional Information

- Advantages
- Disadvantages
- - Elemental Weakness (divine)
- Spellcasting
- Planar Summoning Magic
- the summoning and binding of entities supernatural or otherwise.
Polymorph Magic
- the temporary or permanent physical alteration of living things.
- Core Advantage
- Crafter of Cursed Grimoires: After the conditions of a spell are fulfilled, either her own or ones cast by someone else, Wednesday is able to bind the magic to a book. To do this, she needs a book with text and the spell must be cast within her atelier at her apartment. Once a spell has been added the book will still appear normal, with some changes to appearance and text depending on the size and power of the spell.
Spells can be cast from the book simply from reading them. The stronger the spell, the more pages of the book need to be read. Anyone can utilise these books. However, sufficiently powerful spellbooks will be rendered inert after use.
- Bonus
- Bound Familiar: Wednesday's personal familiar is a black raven named Mislav. She is able to command him telepathically and she can see through his senses at will.
Upgrade: free advantage
Current Situation
- Occupation
- For the sleepers, she works at Fables of Polaris the bookstore owned by her mentor. The real money, however, comes from selling her magic books by commission to awakened customers in the know.
- Housing
- A small studio apartment in a cheap building.
- Wealth
- Usually makes enough cash to get by. Any money not going to rent usually goes to spell supplies so she doesn't often have a surplus of spending money.
History
Wednesday was born to a single mother and aspiring witch of average knowledge and ability. From birth she was raised with knowledge of life beyond the veil of secrecy, having both a normal, mundane life and a more secretive one assisting her mother with her craft.
On the eve of her 18th birthday, Wednesday discovered the circumstances of her birth. Her mother's magical abilities were the result of a bargain struck with a demon, her side of the deal being the life and soul of her firstborn. Her green skin had been left by the demon as a reminder before he came to collect. Wednesday, naturally, was horrified and betrayed by this discovery. She abandoned her home and used all of her knowledge and power to evade the demon's attention.
She spent years barely managing to scrape by, all of her time and energies dedicated to her survival. This struggle to survive eventually lead her to the supernatural community of Polaris Pass, where she met the witch Vivianna Monroe, who both took her on as an apprentice and help her negotiate another deal with the devil who claimed ownership of her.
Finally gaining respite from the demon after her soul, she settled in Polaris Pass to continue refining her craft and keeping herself alive.
