I have a couple of vague ideas for characters that I'd like to run by you all. Anyone interested can hit me up on Discord or via Conversations here on the site to hash out specifics.
The Familiar: A spellcaster living in Polaris Pass gets themselves a familiar, maybe as a gift or a purchase they make themselves. The familiar seems at first to be a kind of magical animal, but soon proves to be sapient and is at the very least grateful for being released from whatever had previously rendered them unable to communicate with others. I have a few ideas for what the familiar's species could be, but am flexible enough to alter based on what works best for the spellcaster in question.
The Imaginary Friend/Monster Under the Bed: This one is an idea that I had for a long time, even back before the revamp. Basically, years ago a kid in town was being terrorized by some nightmare boogeyman sent specifically to frighten them. Flash forward today, the kid has grown up, at least being an older teenager(if not older) and the monster that used to terrorize them is now their best friend. Really what I'm looking for here is a story about codependence and growing up, and the changing relationship dynamic between the monster and the human as the human tries to maybe have a more normal life. Expect angst.
