Abilities: A vengeful spirit that excels at hauntings. Although, he would very much not like to do this.

Situation: Lives in a tiny, rundown apartment. Can't afford much luxury, but is content for the most part with what he has.

Body: Warm-toned, light skin that tans easily; fit, but slightly underweight; possesses cat ears and a single tail matching the colouring of his original form.

Face: Keeps himself clean-shaven; strong jaw; ears are pierced with small, black studs.

Eyes: Dark copper

Hair: 2B, jaw-length; silver-gray with a large patch of white on the right side; he doesn't bother to tame the frequent frizzing.

Clothes: Enjoys simpler clothes with a subtle, unique flair to them; enjoys fashion quite a bit, though can't afford anything fancy.

Other: To unawakened humans, his ears and tail are unseen, and his hair is just gray, without the white patch.



SECTION THREE: Personality

Trait One: Friendly; is very physically affectionate both in- and outside of work.

Trait Two: Aloof; contrary to his friendliness, he tends to seem distant somehow. He doesn't talk about his personal life too much, and it takes a lot for him to truly warm up to people.

Trait Three: Chill; he takes his time and doesn't fuss over things, although this also means he's not good with deadlines. He will get it done... eventually.



Additional Information:

• He's not only good with children, but is all-in-all the nurturing type. When he does warm up to you, he is the textbook mom friend.
• He has a few triggers, mainly with surrounding topics of animal abuse and violence. He has a lot of tolerance these days, but when he does encounter something triggering, he either dissociates and has a hard time getting out of his memories, or gets irritable.

*Cat Form: A blue tabby with medium-length fur and significant white-spotting.
*Flight: Not capable of full flight, but rather, "weightlessness". Can ignore gravity to an extent, allowing for gentle jumps to about the height of a two-story building.
*Minor Illusion: It's very difficult for him to conjure illusions when he's in a good mental state. It takes too much concentration, and really just makes him uncomfortable to do so.
*Restricted Diet: While being undead means he doesn't technically need to eat, he still feels hunger, satisfaction, and even sickness if he eats something he shouldn't.
*Anchor/Holy Weakness: The only holy grounds he can set foot on are those of the temple where his second family got his omamori.

SECTION SIX: History

Date of Birth: April 24th

Place of Birth: Miyagi Prefecture, Japan

History:

• Was born in a rural town and adopted by a lonely, middle-aged man. The man named him Unagi. Right from the beginning, the man was a little off, occasionally having violent outbursts among other strange behaviours, but always treated his cat kindly.
• Soon after he began to be let outside, Unagi befriended a neighbour family who had a young daughter. She called him Shoyu. He'd visit them almost as frequently as he would his own home. They had a cat of their own, a pretty, deaf, white queen, whom Shoyu would later have kittens with. All were adopted into loving families around the town.
• Overtime, whatever illness was plaguing the man, it began to worsen. He was becoming less and less recognizable to Unagi, who'd hiss and spit defensively. Eventually, the violent outbursts were turned towards him. He was killed at four years of age.
• Unagi was reborn as a vengeful spirit, tethered to an omamori charm his other family had attached to his collar when they'd first started to notice his increasingly rough shape. Unagi remembers very little of his time haunting the man who'd betrayed him, and only awoke from his rage long after the man had passed away from his brain disease.
• It took Shoyu a long time to get it together after that, abandoning his original name and coming to terms with his undeath, then finally coming to America — to Polaris Pass — for a fresh start.
