Core Ability: Chronomancy: Octavia is able to create a 20ft wide bubble in which time moves at half the normal rate for her, or anyone else who is aware of the effect. This allows her to seemingly move at impossibly fast speeds, and dodge things she would otherwise be unable to. The effect weakens over time, and after about 5 minutes the effect will fade completely.

Will do things in the most backwards possible way just to annoy people, and puts a very high value on personal freedom. Tends to oppose authority on principle. Prone to acting on whims, and spur of the moment ideas.

Trait One: Arrogant: Etienne has been raised to believe that he is the best dragon of his generation, and as such he expects only the best. And that doesn't just mean the finer things in life. He has a very high view of himself, believing he can do no wrong, and believing himself to be superior to everyone he meets. If not because of his wealth and status, then because they aren't dragons, and therefore weaker than him. Used to getting his way.
Trait Two: Lazy: It cannot be stressed enough that Etienne views all of this as beneath him. By his count, he should be back in Paris, or on a beach somewhere. Not dealing with Emelie's mess. As such, he is only concerned with dealing with the present situation, and it can be rather difficult to actually motivate him to do anything that doesn't involve getting him out of here as soon as possible.
Trait Three: Honorable: Even in spite of all his family has done, Etienne still tries to carry himself with a certainly level of dignity. To that end, he holds himself to a certain code, and does whatever he can to honor his word.

History:

Etienne was born as the result of several generations of very selective breeding with a singular purpose. Create the next heir to the Incendo clan. Of his siblings, which includes Emelie, he was the first to be born, and quickly proved himself worthy of the title by establishing himself as the strongest among them. Naturally, this was by killing two of his siblings who hatched not long after him.

From there, the vast majority of his childhood was spent in training. Be it learning how to fight and hunt with the other dragons of his clans, to learning swordsmanship and politics, nothing was out of reach. Of course, his family spared no expense, and that extended to his schooling. He studied at some of the most prestigious schools in Europe, eventually graduating a year early from Le Rosey at 16. From there, he spent the next two years studying under the finest sommeliers in the world, so that he could take over the family's wine business. During this time, he also became somewhat of a social media "influencer" often posting pictures showing off his wealth, or the myriad of places he's visited, which were mainly tropical beaches. Of course, he didn't mind the extra attention, even if it did come from sleepers.

By age 18, everything seemed to be falling into place, and with any luck he would soon be announced as the next heir apparent to lead the next generation of Incendo's. Something that he couldn't have been more proud, and excited, to do. Of course, had everything gone according to plan, something had to go wrong. Something always does.

At the 11th hour, everything was ruined. The situation in Polaris Pass had deteriorated extremely quickly. With several expendable members of the clan being killed, courtesy of one Alexander Dorakir. What's more, he'd been smart enough to rally forces in the town behind him against them. They could've easily left the boy alone, as he was proving to be too much of a hassle to deal with. But, why do that, when you have the perfect opportunity for the chosen heir to prove his worthiness to lead once and for all by resolving this little problem. Him and Alex are even the same age, after all.

And that's how Etienne found himself, and a few servants on a flight to some supposed backwater "ghost town". Polaris something or other, he honestly couldn't be bothered to care. To him, this is more a chore than anything. He honestly doesn't plan to spend any longer here then he absolutely has to to resolve this little problem, and take his rightful place in the leadership of the Incendo clan.

SECTION THREE: Personality
Trait One: Competitive: She was taught from a young age that losing meant failure. And Morgan's do not fail. As such, in addition to almost never backing down from a challenge, she will always push herself to be the best. Be it in archery, music, or even video games. Second is not an option.
Trait Two: (Un)fair advantage: Victoria is not above playing dirty if it means she'll win in the end. She won't go as far as to directly sabotage someone, but is not above spreading rumors, or going out of her way to antagonize them in order to gain a advantage.
Trait Three: Superiority Complex: Having high expectations placed on her from a young age, paired with her competitive nature, has led to a bit of an ego. She tends to look down on others, and is prone to bragging and showing off, as well as being quite stubborn. She also takes losing extremely poorly, and will often make excuses, or insult the winner. A sore winner, and a sorer loser.

Quirk: Extremely talented Archer, once considered a child prodigy, often competes in tournaments.

Also learned Fencing, Piano, and Horseback riding as a kid/teen.

Finds the town's obsession with the supernatural hilarious, even if she doesn't believe it.

Victoria Alexis Morgan was born into the upper crust of New York City. Her mother was a well known socialite, and her father was a high powered attorney. Suffice to say, they didn't have a lot of time to spend on their new daughter.

Instead, they threw her into a number of activities with some of the best tutor's money could buy. Horse riding lessons, piano lessons, fencing lessons, virtually anything Victoria wanted to try, her parents funded it. If, only to get rid of her for a few hours. Yet it was when she picked up archery that she found her true passion.

That passion would quickly pay off as it soon became clear she wasn't just good at archery, she was amazing at it. By the time she was in middle school, she'd already won a number of tournaments against older kids, and even high schoolers. Her parents, though, didn't much care. Her mother was far more concerned with keeping up appearances, and when her father wasn't working, he was trying to mold her in his image. He'd wanted a son after all.

Despite that, she kept at it, and soon received an offer to attend a prestigious archery academy in Portland. Her parents were hesitant, and it took a good bit of pleading on her part, but she was ultimately sent to live with relatives in Polaris Pass while she attended the academy, as well as the local middle school. Albeit, much to her parent's chagrin.

Now with top of the line equipment, Victoria continued her winning streak. At one point, there were even talks that she might make the olympics in a few years time. At least, that was the hope.

Unfortuently, her victories had inflated her ego as much as it had breed contempt for the competition, who she saw as beneath her skill level. So she began to make things more difficult, deliberately going for trickshots, or missing shots during tournament's because it made things more interesting, and she still won in the end.

Eventually, her father agreed to come to one of her tournaments, her biggest one yet. She made easy work of everyone else, and fully expected to coast to yet another easy victory. Especially when she found out she'd be facing another girl from Polaris Pass.

But, it was not to be. Despite her best efforts, Victoria would lose in a landslide, scoring the lowest she'd ever scored in competition. To make things worse, her father saw this as proof that her interest in archery was a waste of time. He quickly took her back to New York, despite her protests.

So, during the last couple weeks of the school year, Victoria decided to spread some particularly nasty rumors about the girl who beat her. It didn't help that the girl developed early. And although she wasn't able to stick around to see the impact of the rumors, they'd ultimately led to severe bullying towards her victim. One Sophie Smith.

Back in New York, her father would continue to try to mold her into the would-be-heir that he wanted her to be, even going as far as to forbid her from continuing archery, though she would continue to practice in secret. Even if she couldn't compete in tournaments anymore.

Finally, come her senior year high school, after a lot of begging, and a lot of deals and concessions made to her father, she was able to convince him to let her resume competing in archery competitions. But, more importantly, she was also allowed to return to Polaris Pass for her senior year, albeit with certain conditions.

Of course, Victoria would have been fine if she'd just been allowed to return to competitions, but she needed to return to Polaris Pass to avenge the only blemish thus far on her archery career. She's determined to not lose again.

Liar: Primrose likes to claim she's of "noble blood." Very wealthy, old money, high status. And she seems to live a very glamorous life style. She's also fond of boasting of her families accomplishments. However, her lifestyle is funded by her work as thief, and many of the supposed "accomplishments" of her family are.. If not outright lies, heavily exaggerated.
Take what you can: Primrose is, put simply, a thief. She's not afraid to steal from anyone and everyone she meets, and is more then willing to take whatever catches her eye in a given moment.

Quirk: Hates when people draw attention to her left eye/eyepatch.

Very jumpy when it comes to loud noises.

Speaks with a British accent, though it switches to a New York accent when under stress/when angry.

The can be used for up to a minute per day, and unused time can't be saved.

Alice Jones was born in New York City in 2002 to a long line of witches and wizards. Unfortunately, due to a mix of misfortune, war, and their own arrogance, her family had fallen on hard times, and largely lived in poverty. Still, that didn't stop them from telling a young Jane great tales about her ancestors.

As a result of these stories, Jane threw herself into the study of magic, hoping to emulate the witches and wizards she'd heard about growing up. At first, it was a simple desire to be like them. But, as time went on, it grew into a desire to return her family to those glory days. Sure, she had her struggles, but she did manage to make enough of a name for herself locally that eventually she received an invite to a magic academy in upstate New York.

Seeing this an opportunity to "reinvent" herself into a mage worthy of her lineage, she took on a new name.. And a new identity. Alice Jones was no more, instead "Primrose Montgomery-Beckett" would take her place. The heir apparent to a wealthy line of witches from London, England

Primrose quickly established herself amongst her peers as an extremely talented, if self centered, mage. Of course, she supported this success through stealing anything and everything she needed to get ahead. Test answers, rare magical ingredients, you name it, she could get her hands on it.. And so could her classmates. For the right price.

It actually wasn't a bad gig. Through that, and a few other "unrelated" robberies back home during holidays, she actually made pretty decent money. At least, enough money to keep up the charade.

Eventually, she earned a scholarship to go college. At which point, she dropped nearly all contact with her old family. They were too much of a liability.. Not to mention they reminded her of who she used to be. She couldn't risk the secret getting out.

Once in college, she picked up right where she left off. Eventually joining the Sigma Lambda Mu sorority. It was through the sorority that she caught wind of a wand of incredible power. A wand that just so happened to be in the hands of a nearby satanic cult. Primrose's mind was clear. She had to get her hands on that wand, whatever it took.

So, under cover of night, she snuck into a meeting of the cult where they were attempting to bind a powerful demon to the wand.. What happened next is unclear. All Primrose can remember is waking up covered in blood, surrounded by dead cultist, and with a splitting head ache. It wouldn't be until the next morning that she saw the real consequences.

Her left eye was a dark, inky black.. And a voice she didn't recognize was growling demands of violence at her.

Unsure of what to make of everything, and too nervous to show her face on campus, she dropped out of college and set off towards Polaris Pass, hoping to maybe find some kind of answer on what exactly had happened.

And hopefully, find a way to fix it before it was too late.

Trait Two: Lazy: Just because she's willing to try everything, doesn't mean she doesn't like her time to herself. In fact, she can be remarkably lazy when she wants to be, refusing to do anything, and some days not even leaving the house.
Trait Three: Vain: Having been trapped in someone else's body for so long, Charlotte takes no small amount of pride in her appearance, and tries to look her best, regardless of the situation. Can be rather prissy.

SECTION SIX: History

Henrietta was made by the NekO group. A secretive organization responsible for the creation of biogenically engineered catboys/catgirls. Henrietta herself was a custom order for Rose Wiley.

Made in order to replace one of Rose's servants, her first year was spent being "housebroken" to make her loyal to Rose. This involved a number of things, though it was mainly mental abuse. This involved keeping her in the house and isolating her from all but Rose and a handful of other Nek0 owners, while also using hypnosis to terrify her of leaving in the first place. Rose also gaslit her to make her feel useless without Rose. Rose also installed several mental triggers into Henrietta via hypnosis. It was also during this period Rose began use Henrietta for sex. And between the abuse and the hypnosis, Henrietta couldn't exactly have said no even if she wanted to. This was all done so she would be devoted to Rose, and it worked.

After about a year of this abuse, Henrietta was enrolled in a home schooling program run by Ture Lind, the then president of the Nek0 Owners Association of Polaris Pass. (NOA) It was also around this time that Rose began to teach Henrietta about real estate and other things so that she would be able to handle things during the day, when Rose couldn't on account of being a vampire.

About a year of this schooling, she began to work as a assistant for Rose, This allowed her a fair bit of freedom, and while at first she pushed the limits, she quickly learned that it was best to just keep Rose happy.

Now she works as Rose's personal assistant, doing whatever Rose needs or asks of her. This has also led to Rose becoming the head of the Polaris Pass NOA With Henrietta being used as an example by Rose from time to time.

If nothing happened, they likely would've stayed like this for as long as Rose felt like keeping her around. But the death of Ture Lind, followed by the increasing freedom gained by other NEK0s gave both of them ideas.

Rose wanted to reinforce her control. Henrietta wanted to be free.

Eventually, Rose cooked up a scheme that involved Henrietta breaking into Cat Manor, home to Artemis Lind, and Leo, and inviting Rose in to hypnotize both of them. However, Henrietta revealed the plan to the other NEK0s, and with a bit of help, Rose's plan was foiled, and she was killed after trying to attack Artemis and Leo.

Finally free after a lifetime of servitude, one of the first things on Henrietta's list was changing her body. She was a knock off, after all. And if she was going to be well and truly free of Rose, she needed to get rid of all the mental triggers Rose had installed.

Thankfully, she was eventually able to enlist the help of a local goddess, Theia, to create a new body. A new life.

Henrietta Wiley was gone. And Charlotte Hugo was born.

Hair: Long, honey blonde hair that ends just above her waist. Typically worn down in a deliberately messy style.
Clothes: Militaristic, could possibly pass for an officer, if you squint. Lots of dark and muted colors.

SECTION THREE: Personality
Trait One: Brash: Subtle, she isn't. Vela is a hothead who's quick to anger and even quicker to action. Very much the type to shoot first, ask questions later. Blunt at the best of times.
Trait Two: Independent: While she would sacrifice herself for the crew if needed. She hates being bossed around, especially by people who don't know what they're doing. The only person she'll actually listen to is Saeta, since she's the captain. Prone to taking unnecessary risks.
Trait Three: "Tough": She takes no small amount of pride in being the groups enforcer, especially when brutes are dime a dozen. Unfortunately, this also means she doesn't like showing weakness, especially in front of the team. Despite this, she does care very deeply for her crewmates, even if sometimes she struggles to show it.

SECTION FOUR: Abilities

Core Ability: Walking Arsenal: Using totally not stolen alien tech, Vela is able to scan and reproduce weapons. This can be anything from swords and spears to guns or grenades. However, she can only generate one weapon at a time, and up to five before needing to recharge the scanner. Firearms produced by this method will have a full magazine of ammunition, generating a second full magazine towards the total. The weapons will also degenerate after 30 minutes, however they can also be degenerated manually.
Bonus: Removed Weakness
NERFS/FLAVOR: Sunlight Weakness: While she does burn easier then a normal human, sunlight isn't directly harmful to her. It does turn her skin a bright shade of pink, however.

SECTION SIX: History

History:

Vela Xander was born to a poor family on the planet of Aerus, a imperialistic and militaristic planet that was determined to conquer as many planets as it could. Her parents were never really around for her as a kid, with her mother dying in child birth, and her father often being away, off fighting in one of Aerus's endless wars. This meant that Vela had to learn how to fend for herself, like as not. And coupled with her brash personality, led to her getting in a fair bit of trouble as a kid.

Then her dad went and got himself killed.

Luckily one of her dad's old war buddies, agreed to take her in. And while she never really got along with her siblings, or fit in among the upper class of Aerusian society, he still treated her like one of his own children. And as Vela grew older, her adoptive father began to channel her aggression into something more productive, military training. Of course, she was always more interested in the heroics and weaponry used then things like strategy, or logistics. And she never did lose that hot head streak, though eventually she did accept her adoptive father as her real dad.

By the time that she was an adult, with the help of her dad, she'd graduated at the top of her class from one of the best military academies on the planet. And she quickly established herself as a skilled pilot and warrior. Sure she might be a bit of a hotshot, but few could argue with her results. As such, she quickly rose through the ranks, eventually earning command of her own fighter squadron. Their first mission? Investigate an Aerusian freighter that had been broadcasting a distress signal.

It was a trap.

Pirates had commandeered the ship, and were waiting for someone to come investigate. They had been hoping for more then a small fighter squad, but take what you can get, right? Before long, Vela and her squadron were completely surrounded, her arrogance and recklessness meaning they'd fallen for the trap hook, line, and sinker. And while she would survive, her entire squad would be wiped out, and she'd end up stranded on a remote moon. Stuck with no supplies, no ship, and no way to contact anyone. She probably would've died if Saeta and crew hadn't also been investigating the freighter. And more importantly, hunting the bounty on the pirates responsible. Vela had a simple choice, join up with Saeta, or perish. In hindsight, it wasn't a very hard decision.

Of course, they would eventually find the pirates, and Vela would have her vengeance in round two. And with Aerus thinking that she had been killed with the rest of the squadron, as well as the fact that she owed her life to the crew, she decided to become a permanent addition to the crew. Acting as their armorer, weapons expert, heavy, and occasional pilot. Though going from a star fighter to a frigate like the Silver Falcon was like going from a motorcycle to a bus.

For a good while, things were pretty good. She was making good money, all while getting paid to shoot shit, and blow other shit up. What more could she ask for? She even managed to pay a few visits to her dad, just to let him know that she was still alive, and she was fine. Even if she could never return to Aerus proper.

Of course, the good times can only last so long. Now, for better or worse, she's back were she started. With a disabled ship, no way of contacting anyone, and stuck in some nowhere galaxy, on some tiny little backwater planet called Earth. At least this time she's not alone.
