Since Yura is in charge 99% of the time, the other personality traits will be just hers:

Vengeful Spirit: If you are familiar with Sadako/Samara from The Ring or Kayako from Ju-on: The Grudge, then you are already familiar with the basic idea of an Onryō. An Onryō is a vengeful spirit that is able to manifest itself in the world of the living and cause harm to those it wishes revenge on.

Needless to say, Yura is a highly bitter and vengeful person.

Core Advantage:
-Possession: By possessing Miki, she is able to pass herself off as human. Technically, she can possess other humans as well, but she is ultimately anchored to Miki and will always be overcome with a desire to return to her sister. As a result, she is able to pass for human.

Her advantages and disadvantages may apply more, less, or not at all depending on if she is possessing someone or if she is out in her ghostly form.

-She is only able to take an intangible form and flight as a ghost.
-1/2 human speed does not apply when possessing a human. She just has the same speed as whosever body she is in.
-Imminent is weaker when possessing a human, although those in tune with the undead may still notice it.
-While Yura herself is Unliving, the body she possesses will still require food, hydration, sleep, etc.


Core Disadvantage:
-Harae: Being a ghost, Yura obviously cannot be killed in a traditional way. Instead, a Harae ritual must be performed in order to make her vanish from the world permanently. Harae is a ritual of purification in Shinto, which can be used to exorcise vengeful spirits such as Yura.

For the ritual to work, Yura would first have to be forced out of Miki's body. Then her spirit would have to be trapped, as the ritual will fail if Yura is able to possess someone before it is complete. Should the ritual be successful, Yura will disappear and Miki will have control over her body for good.

Yura's vengeful spirit is strongly tethered to the earth, so the ritual would be challenging and may require multiple people—but it is certainly possible.

History:

-The two sisters were born in Hangzhou, China to a Chinese mother and a Japanese/Swiss father who regularly traveled between China and Japan for business. Their father was very successful and they lived a very comfortable life.

-That is, until the truth of their father’s success came to light. He had dealings with the Yakuza, and he had not paid off his debts to them. When Yura was 12 and Miki was 10, the Yakuza killed their parents and took the sisters to Japan, and forced them into sex trafficking. They would remain trapped for 10 years, forced to endure constant sexual abuse.

-Because Yura was so difficult, her captors had started breaking her legs over and over when she got old enough to actually fight back. It would prevent her from running away, but they also assumed it would break her spirit—but it didn't. Yura continued to be as difficult as she possibly could, even with broken legs. One day, one of her captors finally snapped and beat her to death.

-Having died with so much anger and hatred in her heart, Yura's soul was not ready to move on. She became an Onryō—a vengeful spirit. She brutally tortured and killed the small group of Yakuza who had kept her and her sister captive for so many years. Then she lit the building on fire, which turned out to be an apartment complex owned by Yakuza—killing several more. In her fit of rage, however, Yura almost forgot about Miki; she was so scared that she couldn't even bring herself to escape. So, Yura ended up possessing her sister to save her from the fire.

-Before the escape, Yura was able to steal a hard drive that she knew was stored with videos of child sexual abuse videos—including several of them. Yura deleted all the videos, except for the ones with her in them. As an Onryō now, Yura was focused on selfish vengeance—so instead of taking the videos to the police, she kept them. Then she used them as blackmail material against the Yakuza and 'customers' shown in the videos. Having some amount of control over the group that had tortured her for 10 years was far more satisfying to her than doing whatever may be more 'moral.'

-Craving the power and satisfaction of keeping criminals under her thumb, Yura gained a reputation within the underground for her ruthless nature and her ability to obtain important information that many would pay absurd amounts to have. But Yura still had a small semblance of a conscience in the form of her gentle sister, Miki. While in Miki's body, Yura can feel her emotions and hear her thoughts. Miki still loved Yura dearly and saw her as a protector, but she was scared of Yura's dealings with the criminal underground. So, one day, she stopped. Basically disappeared from the radar.

-They happened to be in America at the time, so Yura did a little digging to find safe areas for the supernatural. She chose Polaris Point for the protection that Aurum Heights could offer and for how close it was to Pittsburgh. With some of the money she acquired through blackmail, she bought a house in Aurum Heights, a loft in Pittsburgh, and three nightclubs in the city. With her absurd wealth, she didn't really *need* to work at all—but Yura likes to keep busy.

-Miki’s trauma has basically made her severely agoraphobic, so she never attempts to take control of her own body back. Allowing Yura to have all the control makes her feel safer. In exchange for the use of Miki's body, Yura chose to give her a more peaceful life.

Body: Her skin tone is light brown.

Face: Her ears are pointed and fairly long. She is always seen with her gold, round-framed glasses as she is extremely near-sighted without them.

Eyes: Light blue.

Hair: Lutvi's hair reaches to her lower black. It is dark blue in color, and *thick*. She's got a lot of hair.

Clothes: Lutvi tends to keep herself covered up, as she is embarrassed to show too much of her curvy body. Her 'usual' attire is rather regal, but she wears more casual clothing when among humans.

Other: Lutvi's hair looks black to the unawakened, and her ears look normal. She is often assumed to be of Indian descent.

Iku: Lutvi's beastly companion, Iku, looks like a mix of a mammal and a bird. His fur is fluffy, black and white. He has a tan and black colored beak, and tan birds legs protruding from his chest. These bird claws are used to absorb and remove Lutvi's memory spheres from his chest. The particularly long tufts of fur on his shoulders become wings when he shifts into his larger form.

To humans, Iku just looks like a big, shaggy, old english sheepdog when at 'regular' size. In his larger form, he may look like a bear instead.

History:
-Lutvi was born to a wealthy family in Underhill, in the Court.

-Lutvi was always highly curious, and it was no surprise that she excelled in academics. In particular, she became fascinated with the brain and how information is stored in the mind.

-Having always been frustrated by the limitations of memory, Lutvi began to consider ways that she could store more knowledge and memories in a way that was convenient and did not risk being lost simply by the fickle connections of neurons. Writing everything down, lugging books around, and constantly referring to them was not exactly convenient.

-Lutvi eventually began experimenting with alchemy, which eventually led to her answer: Iku. Being an animal, Iku could follow her wherever she went, while also keeping physical versions of her memories safe within his body. Admittedly, Lutvi also chose to make her 'memory bank' into the strange hybrid animal Iku became because she was pretty lonely and had no real friends.

Shapeshifting: Alastair has three forms: Human, Elk, and Forest Spirit.

-Elk Form: Alastair is able to transform into an elk-like beast. To the unawakened, he would just look like a regular elk. To the awakened, his fur is gold and black, his eyes are piercing blue, and he has a long tail with long fur on the end of it. His antlers are large and are the same reddish tone as his antlers in his human form.

-Forest Spirit Form: Alastair's forest spirit form is like a combination of an elk and a dragon. This form stretches about 12 feet in length.

Core Disadvantage:
Tail: Alastair has one major weakness: his tail. Should his tail (particularly the end part with the long fur) be removed from his elk or forest spirit form, Alastair will die instantly, and whoever possesses it will gain immortality.

Sunshine: Alastair is able to create a ball of light between his antlers in any form. This light is harmless but can be used to light up a dark area, or it can be bright enough to temporarily blind someone.

History:
-Before Alastair was Alastair, he was once just a young fae child called Rubido. Little is known of his past, as he himself has lost those memories. All that is known is that, somehow, he was turned into a more powerful being that became a guardian of nature.

-Alastair became a forest spirit. He used to be violent and feral - attacking humans that were actively harming nature. He became a bit of an urban legend in areas he was active in - primarily Scandinavia and Northern Europe.

-When Alastair began to gain more humanity, he decided to try and live among humans for a while. He met a nature dragon named Luzia and the two became fast friends and began to travel together. They would even pretend to be married when they realized many found it a bit suspicious for a man and woman to be traveling around together if they weren't married or related—and they do not look even remotely related.

-After a few hundred years of travelling and adventures, they eventually decided to settle down in one area. Luzia wanted to begin animal conservation efforts, which led Alastair to his interest in becoming a veterinarian so he could assist as well.

-Luzia now runs an animal sanctuary while Alastair runs two veterinary clinics: one for regular animals, and one for supernatural creatures. While they no longer play a fake married couple, they do live together in a house in Aurum Heights.

Of course, much of her attitude revolves around inducing envious feelings in others which she normally tries to do with her attractive physical appearance.

Me! Me! Me!: It's no surprise that an envy demon feeds off of attention. Dolly's personality can turn on a dime when she doesn't feel she's getting enough attention, from playful and flirty to angry and demanding. She's very selfish and immature, and often times Diva has to keep her in line so she doesn't cause a major disaster.

Insensitive: Besides Dezzie and Diva, Dolly has very little care for others. It is in her nature to be sadistic and take pleasure in the misfortune of others. It is possible she can go against this urge, but it is very rare that Dolly actually makes an effort to do so.

History:

-Dolly was created in The Pit by the former demon king. Rather than being 'born', Dolly is an amalgamation of several dead human souls who wound up in Hell. Those souls determined her physical appearance, as well as her personality—which ultimately led her to be an Envy demon.

-The demon king liked to toy with her and her envious personality. He would give her just enough attention, then take it all away and show attention to others. It drove her into obsessive frenzies, and then she would be thrown into pit fights with those who had her envious ire. She would destroy them for the sake of getting more attention from the demon king.

-When Diva first came to the pit, Dolly was intrigued by her. Dolly was supposed to be 'in love' with the king—she was literally made to be his, after all, but once Diva started giving her a more pleasant type of attention from what she was used to from the king, Dolly was hooked. Diva offered her more, and ultimately stole Dolly away.

-They vanished into another layer of Hell for a time, where they met Dezzie. When Sazz took control of The Pit, they returned. While Sazz was gone, they gained their own reputation in Hell. Well, Diva did anyway—Dolly and Dezzie were generally perceived as her lackeys.

-After hearing rumors that Sazz was back and on Earth, Diva became curious and decided to see where he had ended up. Dolly and Dezzie followed.

The Sapphire Sun Court

The Fae of the Sapphire Sun Court have some particular characteristics. Their skin tone is generally in a light brown range. Their hair and eyes are always blue, albeit in different shades. They tend to be on the shorter side, typically within the range of 4'7 to 5'3. This is regardless of gender.

The Sapphire Sun Court fae tend to have androgynous faces. They also typically wear clothing that covers the whole body and features light padding to create smooth body lines (think kimonos and the way they are padded). 'Presenting' gender is not considered important. It is not uncommon for fae of the Sapphire Sun Court to consider themselves nonbinary or 'somewhere in between' the male-female binary.

Culture

Polygamy is the norm in the Sapphire Sun Court. Couples up to 3-4 are the most common, but there are plenty of households with more as well.

Naming conventions are based on the last name of the parents. If a child has 5 or less parents, they will take each last name. If they have 6 or more, they will instead create a single new last name with characteristics of each parent's last name for the sake of brevity. The first name is also typically built off of the last name of the parents.

For example: Lutvi Lucores-Tare-Vit has three parents. As a result, she takes all three names which are divided by hyphens. Her first name is built off of these three last names: (Lu) (t) (vi).

To the unawakened, she looks like a particularly large great dane with a brindle coat.



SECTION THREE: Personality

Gluttony: As a gluttony demon, Dezzie's constant priority is, of course, eating. She is always hungry and will pretty much eat any organic matter. She will eat regular food of course, but she will also eat raw meat, plants, even dirt sometimes. She will also eat anything she finds in the trash, even if it's spoiled.

She can eat food with a little salt, but if she consumes too much she becomes highly irritable and aggressive.

Human-ing Is Hard: Between her, Diva, and Dolly, Dezzie is the one who has the hardest time passing as human. She has not had a humanoid form for very long and still has some feral tendencies. She has a short attention span and a terrible memory, so she often comes off as clueless and confused.

Sometimes she will even shift into her demon form just so she does not have to 'play human,' though Diva tries to discourage this.

Her Bark Is Worse Than Her Bite: Dezzie likes to act tough but when a situation gets too hot, she will be the first to run away. One of the reasons she is so attracted to Diva is her strength, and she feels a little less cowardly in a group.

History:

-Dezzie was a hyena-like monster long before she gained a human form. She was a feral, violent beast that would hunt and fight for any scraps of meats she could find.

-Her human form was the result of an experiment. A demon with an interest in tattoos with magical properties decided to see if he could take a totally feral demon and give them a humanoid form and enough intellect to not act like an animal. Clearly, it worked! Then he just sort of...let her go to fend for herself and figure out her new body and more complex cognitive functions.

-Along the way, she came to meet Diva and Dolly. Initially, she just followed the two around Hell and would run away if they noticed her. They pretty quickly caught on to her, and Diva eventually trapped her so they could talk. Dezzie became enamored with Diva quite quickly, and soon enough she became a part of their little group.

-After hearing rumors that Sazz was back and on Earth, Diva became curious and decided to see where he had ended up. Dolly and Dezzie followed.
