Beast: Belualis is more of an animal than a person. He will not hesitate to growl and snarl to voice his displeasure, nor is he against biting and scratching if things don't go his way. He is not all bark and no bite with his threats. Sometimes, he's too much bark with his bite, acting impulsively to reach happiness and leaving a bloody trail behind him.

Reckless: Belualis does what he pleases when he pleases. He thinks in the short-term. Planning is for those who hire him, and if he doesn't like those plans, he'll ignore them. This way of thinking has made Belualis a loner. Those he likes rarely stick around, and if they do, he rarely sticks around them. He'll be possessive one to someone one moment, treating them like a precious toy, then view them as food to be eaten or bait for something better in life.

Appearance: 5'9.5" fancy octopus humanoid with way too many cephalopod limbs/tentacles. Looks like he'll step on you with his heels.
Personality: The smart guy playing the straight man to a group of idiots. He's hogging the braincell. Dislikes humans.
Abilities: Octopus man sharing a mind with other imaginary-turned-real creatures made by Sela.
Situation: Poor artist situation. Lives in a broken down cabin with the other Constellations.

SECTION TWO: Appearance

Body: Very squishy, allowing him to fit into small spaces with little to no effort. When at his healthiest, he's slick and wet. When dehydrated, his skin becomes flakey and rough. Very dark blue body with pinks and purples ranging from pastel to vibrant. Has six cephalopod limbs coming from his waist, resembling a skirt. Fins are attached there as well. Gills on his throat. No obvious sexual characteristics other than a small bust.
Face: Diamond-shaped head. Androgynous. Nothing on his face is makeup, it's all natural. Purple and pink horns shaped like corals.
Eyes: Upturned, monolid eyes. Dark grey sclera. Cyan blue irises with pink streaks.
Hair: Slick, squishy, cyan blue tentacles. He can move them around as extra limbs, but because there are no suckers, they're not good for grabbing. Typically, they're always moving gently without his input. Left side of the hair is shaved with braided tentacles. Right side has tentacles.
Clothes: Very little, as his body naturally looks like he's clothed. Chiffon clothes that drape off of him, allowing for easy movement. "Boots" that don't actually cover his feet. Enjoys looking elegant and royal. Has pierced ears and ankles. Likes wearing tasteful jewelry that blends into his outfit. Has a heavy preference for pearl-like jewelry.
Other:
Unawakened Appearance: Looks like a black-Asian masculine/androgynous person. Very dark skin with blue hair. One side is shaved, the other has many thin dreadlocks. Brown eyes. His body looks like very expensive, loose, and revealing clothing. Mainly they took the form of dresses.

Intelligent: Rei is true to the stereotype of octopuses being intelligent. The mind is a great weapon that always needs to be refined and developed. During his free time, he's often found reading a book or going on small expenditures for his research.

Outspoken: Rei tends to say what he thinks. Most of the time he knows not to say some of his crueler thoughts, but overall, he likes to be honest.

Anti-Human: Humans are immensely frustrating creatures to him. From his perspective, they cannot comprehend anything that don't fit within their narrow views. Rei doesn't consider himself as "eldritch" as Sela, but being part of them, he inevitably feels their daily frustrations over not fitting into the strict lifestyle of humans.

Quirk:

• Avoids touching people at all cost due to his sensitive skin.
• Unlike the rest of the Constellation, Rei gets upset when mistaken for a woman.

Place of Birth: Sela's dream world.
History:
Jao, Myst, Neeri, and Rei all share the same origin story: They were created during the early period of Sela's life, when they were most lonely. Each one took up a different role to Sela while always reflecting a different part of them. As each creation developed, they began to have their own wants and needs. Sela allowed them access to their body to better express themself, but this wasn't enough. There was only so much they could do through Sela's body without changing Sela's reputation or making them uncomfortable.

This led to them deciding to have bodies separate to Sela. With directions from Adranus Narreos, Sela went to Chloe Black for help. The two made a deal: Chloe would give the Constellations bodies customized to their likings, Sela would give away several willing souls of humans they've eaten along their lifetime.

And then the rest was history.

Asshole: X shows little to no expression, other than his eyebrows always being furrowed and the way he looks at everything like he wants to strangle it." When speaking, there's always the hint of a growl. Or he outright growls. Usually it's the latter, paired with him barring his teeth. There's a good chance whatever he's saying is an insult or expression of his unhappiness.

Trait Two: X isn't lazy as much as he doesn't put more work than needed. He isn't looking to be the best of the best or to show someone up. Give him a command, he'll do what's ordered, and that's it. That is, if you have the right to command him. He has a rebellious streak where he won't take orders from anyone outside of his gang or who haven't earned his friendship. How do you know he's your friend? That's for him to decide on a whim.

Loyal: As much as X tries not to show it... he cares for his friends. He'll even let them pet him, albeit while growling and trying not to smile. His tail gives it away, unfortunately.

• Will slap away any hand, friend or not, if he's pet in public
• Does not like being called a good boy. He is a bad boy. The baddest boy.

"Redeemed": Cass used to put the "ass" in his name, but he's all better now! As a recent denizen of Polaris Pass, he plans on being the best person he can be. Or, at least, the best version of himself. That's what he believes, anyway. In actuality, he's still just as much of the abusive asshole he was for most of his life, but he finally acknowledged that his old self couldn't retain good relationships. This time, he thinks that as long as he does "good" things, he's a good person, and that will let him be accepted.

Suddenly, they would see each other in the same obscure comic book shop or taking a jog at a park. • One friend was Eleanor, who Cassidy visited the house of for a couple of friendly drinks. Upon hearing the sounds of an altercation, he broke into her house to make sure she was okay. He was confronted with a beast bent over a dead body.
  
  
• The next few moments were a blur and then black, with Cass waking up on Eleanor's couch. The story went that she had attacked him in a fit of rage, then held back just enough to keep him alive, the tradeoff being him becoming a vampire.

He couldn't say if it was sadness or anger that had him attack Paprika and feed on him, but his guilt was clear by the end of it. • When he found the strength to check up on Paprika from the shadows, he was happy to see him alive and horrified to see that he also became a vampire. Ashamed and not wanting to get Eleanor involved, he quit being her student and moved to Polaris Pass to right his wrongs... by building up as many lies as he could.

Personality​

Colorful: Confetti's purpose is to add color and entertainment in an otherwise boring life. Spontaneous, adventurous, and a touch of cat-like "I don't care," everything she does is to bring cheer and fun. But that's much easier online. In-person conversations with those she's unfamiliar with or in situations she has no handle on makes her façade prone to failing.

Love-Fool: Confetti's nature has a succubus makes her think more with her heart and what's in her pants before her brain. The sight of any man that even somewhat fits her qualities makes her want to drag him to someplace private. She is naturally inclined to fall "in love" quickly and desires constant affection. Following the commands of someone she likes floods her with happiness and dedication towards them.

Imprudent: Confetti's greatest flaw is her tendency to say whatever's on her mind and make quick decisions. Every day, for one reason or another, she starts problems without realizing it until it's too late. No matter how many times her words and decisions bite her in the butt, she can't find it within herself to change her behavior. This could be explained away with the proclivities of a cat mixed with a demon, but it really comes down to her stubbornness. For all the qualities that make her submissive, they haven't stopped her from having trouble following orders or reconsidering her opinions. She'd rather do things her way. If they fail... she'd probably still do things her way until she's forced to follow orders.

Confetti is the product of a deal between a human and an incubus. Her father, Hideyoshi Tanaka, is a rich cyber security CEO who'd rather dedicate his life to the occult. Western occult, specifically. He wanted a supernatural creature of his own, and never satisfied with anything simple, he wanted it to be his child. An offspring with all of the magic he looked for in the world. His solution was to bring the supernatural to him by summoning a demon. In all honesty, he hadn't expected the ritual to work, nor did he expect to summon a powerful incubus. The incubus went by Xiraev, and the deal they made was that Hideyoshi's dream child would share Xiraev's own blood.

Hideyoshi assumed that the downside was meant to be taking care of a demonic child. What he really should have expected was the demon coming back for his own.

Confetti's life revolved around her father, Hideyoshi Tanaka. Together they lived in a mansion in Osaka, Japan. Confetti received anything she wanted, as long as she played the roles of a daughter, lover, and servant to her father. Despite being told she couldn't go out without drawing attention, Confetti did so anyway. These ventures managed to find its way to Xiraev's attention.

Confetti had encountered Xiraev once during these walks, which ended up resulting in a pleasant conversation. She thought that would be the end of seeing him, until she woke up in bed and he was staring at her through the window. Her screams notified Hideyoshi, and while Xiraev had already fled, he believed the story she told.

His fear outweighed his anger. He vaguely suspected an end to his dream life, which made him more efficient at packing up Confetti's things during his breakdown. All the while, Hideyoshi explained to Confetti her origins.

Hideyoshi used Xiraev's inability to come out during the daylight to his advantage. Preparations were made to send Confetti to live with his cousin in Polaris Pass. There was no arguing, only the shaky promises that Hideyoshi would come back for him and all would be fine. In just a day, his bags were packed and his travels were arranged.

Outspoken: Rei tends to say what he thinks. Most of the time he knows not to say some of his crueler thoughts, but overall, he likes to be honest.

Anti-Human: Humans are immensely frustrating creatures to him. From his perspective, they cannot comprehend anything that don't fit within their narrow views. Rei doesn't consider himself as "eldritch" as Caelestis, but being part of them, he inevitably feels their daily frustrations over not fitting into the strict lifestyle of humans.

Jao, Myst, Neeri, and Rei all share the same origin story: They were created during the early period of Caelestis' life, when they were most lonely. Each one took up a different role to Caelestis' while always reflecting a different part of them. As each creation developed, they began to have their own wants and needs. Caelestis allowed them access to their body to better express themself, but this wasn't enough. There was only so much they could do through Sela's body without changing Caelestis' reputation or making them uncomfortable.

This led to them deciding to have bodies separate to Caelestis. With directions from Adranus Narreos, Caelestis went to Chloe Black for help. The two made a deal: Chloe would give the Constellations bodies customized to their likings, Caelestis would give away several willing souls of humans they've eaten along their lifetime.

And then the rest was history.
