SECTION ONE: Basic Info

Name: Sareth Oranahr aka Morgan Gosselin

Age: 18

Gender: Agender (accepts all pronouns but defaults to they/them)

Species: Envy Demon

Occupation: Musician

Appearance: Pale, androgynous, shifting.

Personality: Duplicitous asshole out for themself.

Abilities: Demon Stuff. Shapeshifting, snek form, mind reading

Situation: Living in Aurum Heights.

SECTION TWO: Appearance

Character Image: https://f2.toyhou.se/file/f2-toyhou-se/images/28476070_BQxN3kcFypJTNtX.png

Art Credit: @Keen

Height: 5'9

Body: Androgynous, pear-shaped, pale skin. Spade-tip tail and claws on both hands.

Face: Sharp teeth.

Eyes: Black sclera, amber pupils.

Hair: Black and yellow.

Clothes: Leans towards darker colours and revealing cuts.

Other: Their snake form resembles a Mangrove Snake, with yellow eyes and more pronounced teeth. They can adjust the size this form takes to be as large as a python.

Their usual human form, Morgan, is a pretty young woman with light skin, short cropped black hair, grey eyes and a slender, but fit build. She has two goat horns on her head and furry, goatlike legs that usually appear as jeans and boots to the unawakened.

SECTION THREE: Personality

Creature of habit: As far as Sareth is concerned, demons, like everything else, are beholden to their natural inclinations. Lying, cheating, stealing, fighting, it doesn't matter if these actions hurt people, trying to change these behaviours would be like trying to change the directions of the tides. That's just the way of things, why should they act like it's any different?

Duplicitous: Lying comes easy to them. Being inundated with Hell politics at a young age has lead to them developing a level of cunning and willingness to backstab if it'll help them survive or allow them to chase their ambition.

Superiority complex: They do a good job of hiding it with a veneer of general smugness, but a lifetime at the bottom of hell hierarchy has left Sareth embittered and with much lower self image than what appears. They cover this up by flaunting their superiority but part of them can't help but envy the humans they mock because of it.

Additional info: Being genuine is actually somewhat hard for them. Unless they're putting in the effort to hide it their default way of speaking always sounds like they know something you don't.

As Morgan, they present themself as witty, graceful, and something of a tease. While she's perfectly capable of being polite and personable, Morgan tends to look down on people she sees as beneath her notice, and is willing to use any information she gets in order to strike at people who wrong her.

SECTION FOUR: Abilities

Template: Demon, Animal Shifter

Template Advantages:

+ Induce Sin (Envy)
+ Flight
+ Animal Form (Snake)
= Longevity

Template Disadvantages:

- Sin Eater (envy)
- Holy Weakness
- Healing Weakness

Core Ability: Shapechanger: Sareth's physical form is highly malleable. They are restricted to a mostly humanoid state, but are able to make themself bigger and smaller, older and younger, and change basically all their features from their hair to their skin to their face. They can even create and change the clothes they wear. Sareth is also able to grow more nonhuman features, but they are largely cosmetic.

Bonus: Telepathy: Sareth is able to read the surface thoughts of anyone within their vicinity.

SECTION FIVE: Current Situation

Occupation: Bass player of the band Two Thirds Valour.

Housing: Lives alone in an apartment in Aurum Heights.

Wealth: Mostly living off the generosity of the Black family, who funds the band's shows, supplemented by the income from their gigs. They stole some wealth from home before they came to earth but this amount is finite and mostly there for emergencies.

SECTION SIX: History

Place of Birth: Hell

History:

Sareth was the 77th prince of a small Barony in some remote part of hell. Their position, despite giving them basically no authority whatsoever, left them with a great deal of responsibility and little freedom. Sareth hated both these facts, and from a young age sought a way out.

Their chance for escape came when the Hell Baron was called upon by the demonic queen Chloe Black, who had, years prior, bested the Baron during the war for her kingdom, and had him in her pocket as a result. The queen had, after hearing some choice words about them, taken an interest in the baron's children, and had extended an offer for them to come to earth. Sareth, eager for a way out of their current predicament, accepted easily.

Chloe helped Sareth get set up in Polaris Pass, helping them find a home and generally continued to mentor them on Earth society. They were eventually enrolled at True North Academy, under the identity of a French exchange student who was sent to Polaris Pass after claiming to have developed Satyr features that her rich parents couldn't see. They quickly developed a reputation as an unattainable, devious ice queen, the star of the high jump team, and a notorious gossipmonger who always seemed to find out what people were up to eventually.

Sareth was very well fed during this period of time and would have been happy to just live off the envy of the other kids. However, after being uplifted from hell, Chloe eventually called for them to return the favour. Specifically, to help keep tabs on her daughters.

Sareth did eventually befriend one of them, Dahlia, inserting themself into her clique and even joining her band. The two got close, but unbeknownst to her, they were reporting on her activities to her mother the entire time.

The years passed and they eventually graduated. Sareth currently balances their human identity and obligations with their own activities as a demon, terrorising and generally feeding off the mundane population of Polaris Pass.

SECTION ONE: Basic Info

Name: Lauren Stanek

Age: 155 chronologically, appears mid-20's.

Gender: Woman

Species: Rusalka

Occupation: Bouncer

Appearance: Tall, and muscular shark person. Legs become a tail when in the water.

Personality: A one line summary of how they act. Can be a sentence or just a brief list.

Abilities: Undead mershark.

Situation: Primary live at the lake. Has a small apartment in town for when she needs it.

SECTION TWO: Appearance

Character Image: If you have one, feel free to replace this one with it.

Art Credit: If you are using images for your character they must be credited.

Height: 5'8.

Body: Stocky, muscular, tan skin. Gills at her neck.

Face: Sharp teeth. Some bluish features, like someone who's been in water too long.

Eyes: Orange eyes.

Hair: Brown, spikey, cut into a mohawk that extends down to her neck.

Clothes: Dresses plain but durable. Very typical tough-gal kinda looks. Will occasionally wear some nice dresses if she's feeling nostalgic.

Other: Grows a lower body that resembles a shark tail upon entering water.

SECTION THREE: Personality

Trait One: Chill: As far as Lauren is concerned, the worst thing that could have happened to her has already happened. Her death was a good chance to reinvent herself and she took it once she realised that. Not too much gets to her, she's fine taking her time with things, and insults or provocations tend to roll off her.

Trait Two: Assertive: That being said, she is not a doormat, nor shall she act like one. Lauren is entirely willing to take charge and she still won't take any challenge laying down.

Trait Three: List a major personality trait, and explain it briefly.

Quirk: Does your character have any unique mannerisms or notable reactions to certain common sights, sounds, topics, etc?

SECTION FOUR: Abilities

Template: Siren, Undead.

Template Advantages:
+ Supernatural Beauty
+ Animal Senses (Shark)
+ Swim Enhancements
+ x2 Human Strength
+ Unliving

Template Disadvantages:
- Holy Weakness
- Restricted Diet (Raw Meat)
- Metal Weakness (Iron)
- Elemental Weakness (Fire)

Core Weakness: Spirit of the Lake: Lauren is intrinsically bound to the site of her death: the creek where she drowned. The range in which she can travel away from it has slowly grown, currently extending to the town itself and some of the surrounding area. If she goes further, however, her condition will rapidly deteriorate.

She also must return to the creek every few nights and rest in the water, or she will deteriorate more slowly.

Bonus: Free Advantage

Flavour: Swim enhancement changes her legs into a tail.
Her body is at a slightly lower temperature compared to normal.

SECTION FIVE: Current Situation

Occupation: Works at a bouncer at one of the clubs in town.

Housing: Owns a small apartment, though it's pretty sparse as she doesn't spend a lot of time there. She prefers to spend the nights at the creek while the apartment is mostly there for legal purposes.

Wealth: Not making too much money, but isn't struggling.

SECTION SIX: History

History: Prior to her death, Lauren was nothing special. She'd married young to a man who fancied himself an entrepreneur, and despite the protests from her he wanted to succeed where other's had failed by opening a mine near Polaris Pass, citing a dream he'd had of a gold deposit that no one had found yet.

He, naturally, did not succeed. His mine turned up some gold but nowhere near the miraculous amount he'd expected. He stubbornly persisted, however, while Lauren continued to protest and tried to convince him otherwise, which grew into arguments and fights that culminated with her murder.

Her husband drowned her in Fool's Creek and told everyone else she had simply gone missing. Soon after, he cut his losses and skipped town, and when Polaris Pass was abandoned the world quickly forgot about Lauren Stanek.

During the town's revival in the 20, people started to vanish under mysterious circumstances. The disappearances were spread out, and it wasn't until the third did the then small supernatural community suspected something inhuman in nature.

The cause was eventually discovered by the alpha of the Olcan clan, who tracked the missing people's last location to Fool's Creek. Lauren had become a Rusalka, who had been luring any man who was unfortunate enough to pass by alone into the Creek to murder them. Her mind was fractured after her death, and after her revival every man she saw had appeared as her murderous ex-husband in her eyes.

Fortunately, Tasha and her pack were able to prevent further murders long enough for Lauren to eventually recover. It took time, but over the years she gradually managed to leave the Creek and slowly reintegrate into society.

She has since settled into Polaris Pass proper, getting fake papers set up and living in town, returning to the Creek when she needs to.

SECTION ONE: Basic Info

Name: Wednesday Zawisza

Age: 22

Gender: Female
Species: Human

Occupation: Bookmaker

Appearance: A green goth nerd

Personality: Tired. Neurotic. Nerdy but Trying Her Best.

Abilities: Magic

Situation: Scraping by.

SECTION TWO: Appearance

Height: 5'2

Body: Curvy build, toned arms, green skin. Arcane tattoos along her arms and torso.

Face: Circular glasses. Pierced ears and nose.

Eyes: Muddy green eyes.

Hair: Black, long and silky. Usually tied loosely.

Clothes: Dresses like a goth librarian. Cable knit sweaters and fishnets, circle rim glasses and spiked jewellery, wide brim hats and leather boots, etc.

Other: Skin looks fair to the unawakened.

SECTION THREE: Personality

Weary: Wednesday is tired. She carries herself lethargically and at a glance fails to muster much enthusiasm for anything.

Neurotic: If something can go wrong it probably will. Wednesday makes sure to always expect the worst, which can be useful sometimes, especially when she’s working with dangerous, volatile magic. But this also translates to a level of anxiety and she often struggles to stay calm when confronted with the unexpected.

Academic: Under all that moodiness, Wednesday is a true nerd at heart. The unknown and the unfamiliar is quick to grasp her interest, and any new form of magic she discovers is bound to have her theorising in the back of her brain. If only she had the time to pursue that further.

Quirk: Terrible posture. Doesn’t sit still, tends to tap her foot or fingers.

SECTION FOUR: Abilities

Template: Spellcaster

Planar Magic
Minor: Summoning basic small animal familiars or unseen servants. Will follow commands.
Major: Summoning non-sapient supernatural creatures, elemental beings, or larger animal familiars. Can be made to follow commands.
Momentus: Summoning sapient supernatural creatures, beings capable of magic at her level or greater, permanent binding of weaker summons. Can be made to follow commands on a temporary basis (if not permanently bound).
- Minor condition: Focus - Mother's spellbook.
- Major condition: Material Sacrifice - valuable objects of thematic significance to what she’s summoning.
- Momentous condition: - Time locked - spell must be cast during the witching hour.

Polymorph Magic
Minor: Temporary small changes to shape or colour of physical features on people, creatures or objects.
Major: Make minor polymorphs permanent, temporary changes including new additional unnatural features. Make a creature distinctly different but still same species.
Momentous: Freely change the physical shape of a person, creature or object, including changing into an entirely different creature or the addition of unnatural features.
- Minor Condition: Focus - Mother's spellbook.
- Major condition: Material Sacrifice - valuable objects of thematic significance to changes being made.
- Momentous condition: - Time locked - spell must be cast during the witching hour.

Core Ability: Crafter of Cursed Grimoires: After the conditions of a spell are fulfilled, either her own or ones cast by someone else, Wednesday is able to bind the magic to a book. To do this, she needs a book with text and the spell must be cast within her atelier at her apartment. Once a spell has been added the book will still appear normal, with some changes to appearance and text depending on the size and power of the spell.

Spells can be cast from the book simply from reading them. The stronger the spell, the more pages of the book need to be read. Anyone can utilise these books. However, a major spellbook will lose its magic after being cast and will require a recharge, and a momentous spellbook will crumble to dust after.

Core Disadvantage: Wednesday’s soul was promised to a demon as part of a bargain by her mother. In order to keep her life and freedom, she must make regular sacrifices to this demon. Major magical creature summons will generally satisfy in the short term. Sentient beings would give her more time, but she'd prefer not to do that.

Bonus: Bound Familiar: Wednesday's personal familiar is a black raven named Mislav. She is able to command him telepathically and she can see through his senses at will.

SECTION FIVE: Current Situation

Occupation: For the sleepers, she works at the bookstore owned by her mentor. The real money, however, comes from selling her magic books by commission to awakened customers in the know.

Housing: A small studio apartment in a cheap building.

Wealth: Usually makes enough cash to get by. Any money not going to rent usually goes to spell supplies so she doesn't often have a surplus of spending money.

SECTION SIX: History

Wednesday was born to a single mother and aspiring witch of average knowledge and ability. From birth she was raised with knowledge of life beyond the veil of secrecy, having both a normal, mundane life and a more secretive one assisting her mother with her craft.

On the eve of her 18th birthday, Wednesday discovered the circumstances of her birth. Her mother's magical abilities were the result of a bargain struck with a demon, her side of the deal being the life and soul of her firstborn. Her green skin had been the result of a spell to keep her existence hidden, but the demon found out eventually and came to collect. Wednesday, naturally, was horrified and betrayed by this discovery. She abandoned her home and used all of her knowledge and power to evade the demon's attention.

She spent years barely managing to scrape by, all of her time and energies dedicated to her survival. This struggle to survive eventually lead her to the supernatural community of Polaris Pass, where she met the witch Vivianna Monroe, who both took her on as an apprentice and help her negotiate another deal with the devil who claimed ownership of her.

Finally gaining respite from the demon after her soul, she settled in Polaris Pass to continue refining her craft and keeping herself alive.

Abilities: werewolf stuff

Situation: Banished from his rich family and living alone.

Height: 5'11

Body: fair skin, twunk build

Face: piercings in his ear and nose, clean shaven

Eyes: brown

Hair: black, short, perpetually spikey

Clothes: punky. lots of spikes and leather

Other: His werewolf form is tall, fit and lanky. Somehow keeps the spike hair.

SECTION THREE: Personality

Trait One: Like a excited dog: Barty has a lot of energy that comes through in everything from his expressions to his actions. He wears his heart on his sleeve, tends to be easily impressed by new things and won't hide when someone or something has caught his interest.

Trait Two: Sigma Grindset 😤😤: Barty thinks of himself as a lone-wolf sorta guy. He balks at authority and will go out of his way ignore doing what he's told. He's willing to listen to someone he likes or respects, but adults who have that rare distinction tend to be few and far between.

Trait Three: Wanna bet on it?!?: Barty has a competitive streak a mile long, and can find a challenge in almost any innocuous thing. If he believes its a chance to compete with someone he will throw maximum effort into almost anything, and losing will do little to discourage this.

Quirk: Does your character have any unique mannerisms or notable reactions to certain common sights, sounds, topics, etc?

SECTION FOUR: Abilities

Template: Werewolf

Template Advantages:
+ Hybrid Animal Form (Werewolf)
+ Animal Senses (Wolf)

SECTION FIVE: Current Situation

Occupation: Student, 11th grade

Housing: Lives in a nice house with his uncle in Aurum Heights.

Wealth: His needs are taken care of. He has a very limited allowance while living at Polaris Pass.

History: Barty was born the youngest son to an old money American family, a fact that most of them regret deeply. From a very young age he resisted all the attempts to instill a sense of responsibility or image into, and quickly began to define himself in opposition to how his family wanted him to be.

He associated with crowds his family were against, "bad crowds" and countercultures

SECTION ONE: Basic Info

Name: Art Septus

Age: Little over 1 year chronologically, 18 physically/mentally.

Gender: Whatever told, defaults to he/him.

Species: NEK0

Occupation: Nek0 company representative/asset reposesssion agent/"fixer"/domestic servant.

Appearance: Short pale twink with cat features. Very neat and ordely.

Personality: Slave

Abilities: NEK0 stuff. Ultra Instinct.

Situation: In town on business, supplied money when needed by his masters.

SECTION TWO: Appearance

Character Image: If you have one, feel free to replace this one with it.

Art Credit: If you are using images for your character they must be credited.

Height: 5'4

Body: Small and slender. Pale skin dusted with freckles.

Face: More effeminate looking. Usually smiling.

Eyes: Reddish cat eyes. He has two of them.

Hair: Red. Cut short and neat. Has a collection of wigs he will bust out when needed.

Clothes: Usually some form of business casual. Neat and presentable, but standard enough to blend into a crowd when necessary.

Other: Literally physically identical to Leo, down to the ears and tail, minus the wounds.

SECTION THREE: Personality

Trait One: Good servants are loyal: Art is the very definition of obedient to the NEK0 company. His love for his masters borders on almost religious fervor, so much that the company will allow him to act without direct oversight, as he will always act in their best interest.

Trait Two: Good servants are eagar: His desire to serve extends past just his masters. Art derives a great deal of pleasure from obeying any command, big or small. If given the ability to choose, he would simply act to fulfil the orders of as many peope as possible, so long as they didn't conflict with the company.

Trait Three: Good servants are useful: In order to provide the best service possible, Art is surprisingly well-read. He has made sure to educate himself on topics ranging from science to history and even philosophy, and is always trying to learn more when he has the time.

Additional info: Art is usually under orders restricting his emotional expression, as the joy he derives from service can be seen as "a little weird".

SECTION FOUR: Abilities

Template: NEK0, Wereshifter

Template Advantages:
+ Rapid Learning
+ Polyglot
+ Sleepless
= Ageless: NEK0 are born at a set age, and do not age unless the aging is induced.
+ Animal Senses (Cat)
Template Disadvantages:
- Suggestible
- Under Orders (The NEK0 Company and all who act in its interest)
- Restricted Diet (Feline)

Core Advantage: Overdrive: At will, or when ordered, Art is able to shut off all non-essential mental functions (pain reception, emotions, etc) in order to receive a massive increase in visual processing, reaction speed and thought. He does this whenever completion of orders necessitates it, however it often shuts down complicated problem solving skills, and leads to him trying to resolve the issue in the most direct way possible.

Core Disadvantage: Suspire: Art must follow any and all orders to the letter given by anyone who speaks the word Suspire to him. This condition ends when the word is spoken a second time. This also applies to audio playbacks and written messages given to him.

Orders given under Suspire can even override his orders from the company, though it will cause him immense distress to do any action that he believes goes against their interests.

Art has been mentally conditioned to believe that if he speaks the word, acid will manifest in his body and rapidly destroy it from the inside. As such, he will not use it on himself.

Bonus: Free advantage.

Nerfs/Flavours: Art appears to have the standard physical weakness of most NEK0. It's merely a mental block that is removed in situations that necessitate it.

SECTION FIVE: Current Situation

Occupation: NEK0 that reports directly to the NEK0 company for various purposes.

Housing: In a spartan motel room in town under an assumed name.

Wealth: Owns nothing himself, but is supplied with money by the NEK0 Company whenever their tasks require it.

SECTION SIX: History

History:

The first iteration of Art was a simple test subject for the NEK0 Company R&D division on methods to improve the obendience of their products, created using a spare genetic template that the company retained exclusive ownership of. Subsequent renditions were created to test other features. It's unclear whether they're still alive.

This is the seventh iteration of Art, considered one of the most successful implementations of perfect loyalty and obedience. However, customers looking for living pets found his eagarness a little bit unnerving, so he was deemed inappropriate for sale.

Rather than recycle the NEK0 for spare parts, as they might do with other failures or damaged goods, prototype number seven was put to work for the company. The higher ups, and the chief scientist involved in his creation (who might be a little bit too proud of his creation) reasoned that he was both too expensive and had too many useful features to simply be destroyed.

Art now serves multiple purposes. When acting as a representative he can be seen as a form of advertising; anyone who sees him will see the sort of blind loyalty that can only be found in a purchased NEK0. His intelligence makes him a more than capabile advisor in almost any situations, as he has a great deal of knowledge on many subjects and will offer input that is honest and objective when asked. His status as a NEK0, however, leaves him often underestimated. Combined with his heightened physical attributes, this makes Art ideal for claundestine actions the company may need to make or problems the company may need handled.

Problems such as the death of one of their benefactors, or the discovery of company property that had been presumed destroyed within the Portland area.

Art can't wait to fulfil his latest assignment.

Species: Human/awakened

Occupation: Back alley doctor

Appearance: Athletic middle-aged woman.

Personality: Chill, collected, knows when to be harsh and knows when not to.

Abilities: none

Situation: Recently moved into aurum heights, runs a clinic in town.

SECTION TWO: Appearance

Character Image: https://i.imgur.com/pcjNSqA.jpg

Art Credit: image is official character portrait art from Shadowrun Dragonfall

Height: 5'11

Body: light skin, athletic build, scars along her torso

Face: Scar on her nose, pierced nostrils.

Eyes: dark grey/green.

Hair: Black, short, boyish.

Clothes: Tends to dress down, more for comfort than appearances.

Other:

SECTION THREE: Personality

Trait One: Reformed troublemaker: Hayley was something of a rebel in her youth, though not quite to the same degree as her dumbass nephew. Her wild days are behind her, though, and while she may have a degree of respect for people who ignore the rules, she knows when to let things slide and she knows when to crack the whip.

Trait Two: Forced Relaxation: A lot of that military discipline hasn't quite left her yet. She can appear tense without even realising sometimes, and every now and again encounters with the supernatural can spook her more than they should. Hayley tries to keep in on lock, though.

Trait Three: Duty Bound: Hayley considers herself to be in a relatively fortunate situation, which was the main reason for operating her clinic. She wants to help those around her whenever possible, though she tries not to make it obvious just how much she cares.

Quirk: Does your character have any unique mannerisms or notable reactions to certain common sights, sounds, topics, etc?

SECTION FOUR: Abilities

SECTION FIVE: Current Situation

Occupation: Operates an unlicensed clinic out of Mainstreet. Most of the medical supplies are purchased using the money supplied by her brother, which allows her to keep treatment on the cheap.

Housing: Lives in a flat in Aurum Heights, specifically equipped to keep her nephew safe during full moons.

Wealth: Funded by her family, though most of it goes to her living arrangements and her clinic.

SECTION SIX: History

History:

Hayley was born a member of the wealthy Crawford family. The youngest after three brothers, she found herself especially struggling under her father and his somewhat antiquated views regarding the role of young girls. She rebelled from a young age, and as soon as she got the opportunity she joined the military as a means of escaping from under his thumb.

She served as a medic in the army for the better part of 10 years, mostly avoiding any serious action, and focused on keeping her fellow soldiers patched up. Her career came to a sudden end, however, when one of the soldiers she was treating violently transformed while under her care, injuring her and several other soldiers. When she tried to explain what she saw to her superiors, she was discharged from the military with mental health issues cited as the reason.

Dissatisfied with the lack of answers, her search to figure out what exactly she saw led her to Polaris Pass, where she eventually came to reside. While she mostly kept to herself for a while, she eventually found herself offering medical services to supernatural people who would have difficulty explaining their injuries to the hospitals.

After her nephew Barty contracted lycanthropy, her father got in contact with her. It was the first she'd heard from her family in years. She agreed to look after her son, but in return demanded extra funding to allow her to expand her clinic, giving her even more resources to look after the townsfolk.
