Polaris Pass is home to a small henotheistic* Hindu community. The town's temple is run by the Singh family who built the temple as a one room extension to their home. The temple's public entrance is open during daylight hours and worshipers are free to come and go as they please. There is a central shrine to Brahman, with smaller shrines to Shiva and Vishnu. Harold Singh, the temple's part-time priest, attended the Hindu University of America and will perform temple rituals upon request. His wife, Varla Singh, oversees preparations for Hindu festivals and runs a small food pantry for the wider Polaris Pass community. Once a week the Singh's offer a free yoga class.
Certain rituals will cost a sum of money, otherwise most temple services are free and donations (money and food items) are welcome.
* (they worship Brahman but also recognized other gods and goddesses)
