Sophie missed school, and mishka went to check on her only to find that she was not okay. A comment made by victoria sent sophie spiralling through a small anxiety fueled depressive episode. Mishka took the time to work towards making her feel better before they go to look at the progress mishka had made on their costumes.

Riley chases after Sophie after witnessing Victoria bullying sophie. Sophie gets sick, and Riley does his best to cheer her up while offering to be her friend. They make plans to play video games that Sophie flakes out on as well as flaking out on school until mishka checks in on her the next day.

This is a big one. Gwen confronts sophie's dad about his involvement in kidnapping tasha as well as the wolfsbane bracelets that his family had been wearing. After storming out in a fit of anger, Gwen decides to wake sophie up in order to get sophie to take off the bracelet as well as get petty revenge on Martin(Sophie's father). Sophie is woken up and the rest is history.

Sophie discovers Tasha in her uncles basement, and free's her before taking her home to malina and emmett. She has a breakdown as she learns about her father's involvement and what is likely to happen to him.

Sophie goes to stay with mishka following her rescuing of tasha, unable to go home and potentially confront her father after what she had seen of tasha's torture. The thread has its ups and downs as mishka does her best to cheer sophie up and be there for her. This is also where sophie admits some of her interest in Gwen, and Alma, though she refutes any possibility of either. Much affection is had, many comforts.

Sophie visits hendrix after he offered to let her sate her curiosity on his father's tomes about magic. They grow closer as friends and talk a little about each of their respective traumas. Hendrix with the passing of his father, and sophie with the incarceration of hers following his involvement in tasha's disappearance. This is also where sophie learns she can't wield traditional spellcasting, and discovers an avenue of fantasy and magic is closed to her despite her avid interest.

Alma and Sophie hangout, and eventually Alma manages to coax Sophie out of her shell. Upon doing so though, Sophie owns up to be interesting in Alma physically on top of wanting to be friends. The expected ensues, and their dynamic changes.
