Trait Requests

A possible trait - Time Limit: The longer one stays in a form the harder it is to shift out of it until they can not.
I don't think this works as a disadvantage, because it requires the person have a specific advantage to take, but doesn't balance it out. This is a nerf or core disadvantage, depending on the nature of their shifting.

Disadvantage - Elemental Dependency: If they can not get access to the element, bad things happen (in my case coma to death).

I don't think this would work for the majority of elements. For example, air or water would not work (identical to a human) - fire would be impossible with the setting, etc. If you could explain what you were hoping to do with it, we might be able to make it something that would work.

I was looking for something that makes better sense the 'Elemental dependency (light)'.

Restricted Diet (Photosynthesis), unless you intend for them to have to always be in light or else they'll die, in which case it should really be a core disadvantage, as that would be pretty fundamental to the character.
