Prankster: Ari likes to pull harmless pranks, or take small items and add them to her collection of baubles.

Curiosity Killed the Cat: Ari is curious like a child. She is the type to float around and eavesdrop on things. She'll push the boundaries though and maybe get too close, or fall into a trap.

Entitled: Ari is badly entitled to whatever she wants. She will throw a temper tantrum when she doesn't get what she wants, and is not above getting a little malicious with her pranks against those who withhold things from her.



Additional Information: She is the type to take people on small little adventures while shrunken down. These are often harmless, though not without some risk just due to being small, and usually she will make people forget the experience with her forget me dust. Only vague happy memories akin to a dream or daydream of adventure.

Core Advantage: Pixie Dust: Ari can shoot a small puff of pixie dust that can carry 1 of the 4 following properties at a time.

Forget me dust: The person who is exposed to the dust forgets a lot of their most recent encounter. This often leaves them a little confused and with a sense of "oh where did the time go". It is powerful enough with a direct blast to cause a person to completely forget Ari was present and is more effective on sleepers.

A Whole New World: The person who is exposed can temporarily see through the veil, but cannot be fully awakened by it. This lasts an hour, or until the person is hit by the forget me dust.

Fly With Me: Much like tinkerbell, Ari can release dust that will let a person fly for about 10 minutes or 1 hour if they are shrunken down with the 'Be my friend?' dust.

Be my friend?: This dust will shrink a person for about an hour. Removing the dust does not remove the effect.

History: Ari was a pixie in underhill for the better part of the last 20 years. Doing what pixies do, stealing and playing pranks. A life full of laughs. Eventually she wandered out of her usual stomping grounds and ended up taking a road that led to the human world, just so happening to end up in the forest outside of Polaris Pass.

Thrives in the Limelight: Cassidy is able to handle social pressure like a champ, and is energized by being around others.

Humbled: After making mistakes with her friends, and struggling through a stigmatized against her world, Cassidy has learned to view others with respect.

Growing Wilderness: Cassidy struggled at first with her turning into a werewolf, but it's been growing on her. She is coming to terms with the beast inside, and sometimes she gets a little wild in both positive and negative ways.



Additional Information: Cassidy is in a new place, and terrified. She doesn't know whats next, or where to go. This is leaving her more subdued in social interactions and feral during intense emotional scenes. She's quick to lash out, and generally feeling intensely across the board. No amount of hard work is going to make her wake up back where she belonged suddenly.

History: Cassidy is the protagonist. Of life? The world? Nothing so grand. Cassidy is the protagonist of a science fantasy trilogy featuring a world where the supernatural suddenly start to appear from everyday people. A grocer who suddenly can't stand the sun, or an athlete who turns into a werewolf on every full moon. Cassidy wasn't one of the ones who turned into something new, not at first. Her breakout came later in life toward the end of her college career almost a year after the first breakout event. The world struggled to navigate the various inhabitant's new conditions, and there was no small amount of sudden stigma. Cassidy unfortunately didn't handle it well at first despite her experience with gender transitioning earlier in her life. With the original breakout event, she pushed her friends away and struggled to cope with feeling obsolete in a world where people were becoming super. Her closest two friends were among those turned, and despite her callous attitude, they were there for her when her own breakout event happened.

Cassidy broke out with lycanthropy, her first shift coming during a sporting event on live television. She suddenly had to cope with the stigma she had lauded at her friends, and it humbled her quickly. Prior friends dropped her, and old ones reconnected, and the last thing she remembers was going out for her first Wolf Run in the woods with a pack that was looking to take her in. When she woke up, she wasn't on Atraxa Prime anymore.

Vague memories for anything that isn't explicitly laid out in the book. She has a vague impression of things she should have experienced, but never did. Like her childhood, her first crush, the first party. All of these are things she knows that she has had, but trying to remember them comes up blank. She can only really starkly remember the last two years or so, right before the breakout event that eventually led to her lycanthropy. She knows being active was important, sports something she was good at. She wants to feel special, like the effort she puts into things is important and not just a product of her parents well to do wealth. Sure she ended up in the best schools, the best clothes, with the best trainers, but it didn't change how hard she worked to achieve what she did within them. It was why she turned her back on her friends when they were handed power that simply made her feel obsolete no matter how hard she tried.

It took her entirely too long to realize that they had been dealing with the same struggle, coming from less affluent means. She had thrown the stigma her world had been developing at them almost until the world found its reason to return the favor tenfold. Yet still her spurned friends were there for her, though one took longer than the other to forgive her for the hurtful things she had said. Then came life as a werewolf, walking around and getting dirty looks from humans, losing control of herself every month no matter how much she tried. Dealing with the instincts that had her lashing out at those who provoked her before she could even think to handle it as a person.

Its complicated, but the last time she hated who she was like this was when she was still a boy. That feeling that something had been wrong with her without knowing what it was. Then the first shift happened and for a moment, one she'd struggled to even admit she had, a part of her felt right again. The feeling of unbound freedom, the awakening of her animal instincts, the feeling of coming bodily alive in a way she'd only experienced when the euphoria of seeing her feminine body in the right light for the first time had created. Then that moment faded to the abyss as the world reminded her that her kind, victims in their own right, weren't welcome on atraxa prime. The internalized stigma and external pressure had her fighting against her nature hard enough that it started to fight back it seemed. The more she did it, the worse it got, the worse she felt. It had taken her other wolfen friend weeks of vague meetups Cassidy can't quite remember but is certain that she remembers happened before she agreed to go on her first run with some of the people in her local wolf community. To shift during a moon and run with others. They had all been so friendly while she seemed to be struggling. She could feel the pull to be close to them from inside, and her socially programmed instincts were fighting to give in.

Cassidy feels isolated, felt isolated in the book, partially of her own volition. How could you want to be around people when you feel out of control, like the body you had so fiercely worked towards to achieve seemed to betray you. It had taken so much effort for her to lose her first name, and take another. To be happy with what she saw in the mirror. Now if she wasn't careful, it would change on her and become something she'd spent so much time resenting. So waking up on a planet she didn't know, with people who knew nothing of her planet yet somehow spoke her language left her feeling even more isolated. Just when her wolf had thought it was finding a community, everything she knew was gone. Left unsure of where to go, what to do, and the deep seated fear of the unknown.




Trying to get this character to the right mindset. Someone who is missing a lot of memories but doesn't immediately notice the extent of what she should, but can't, remember. Also someone who has undergone a few trials, such as transitioning and the struggle of the world undergoing a drastic polarizing change that she feels she was and may still slightly be on the wrong side of. There are some themes where she doesn't like losing control of herself, but actively wants to let loose and be what she feels on the inside. She misses the feeling of being unafraid of herself, and is slowly working to fix and come to terms with her new life.

Starting in polaris pass, how is she surviving? Is she breaking into things, does she appear somewhere that someone can see her? Does she come into being on her own, or as a result of something beatrice does? If she's alone, maybe she starts to stay in a homeless shelter. What would that do to a person? A wolf? Is this the direction I want to go with her? She wont have any papers to work with.

Body: Shaped a lot like her mother, proportional in most ways. Not slim, not pudgy, a very healthy weight. Darker Latin skin.

Face: Heart-shaped face with a smaller nose.

Eyes: Golden in color, like her mother.

Hair: Her hair is about shoulder length and wildly voluminous. You might even call it a mane of very wavy hair. Almost impossible to brush. She has permanent black lion ears.

Clothes: She dresses for warmth, usually wearing a leather/jean/hoodie style jacket over t-shirts and jeans. She also wears them wrapped around her waist indoors a lot.

Other: She has golden markings along her back starting from the base of her skull, and spreading out along her back before ending at her tailbone, which has a permanent dog tail as seen in her lion-dog form. The markings are dense and cover her entire back in a similar style to her mother.

Feral: Zoe is a wild child, prone to animalistic-style responses. She is also at times, a lion-dog, and will act accordingly.

Excited for Life: Zoe was reborn with a boundless excitement for life. Her desires are mostly unfiltered and tend to center around curiosity, hunger, and affection.

Rebellious: Sometimes, you just want to have fun, damn the consequences. Zoe occasionally will choose to do the opposite of what she's told simply because she can be a brat. It's usually playful. Usually.



Additional Information: Zoe fiercely guards her snacks, but if she sees someone else is hungry while she's eating she will likely share.

Exploration: Zoe craves exploring and trying new things. A boundless curiosity for life that usually involves her investigating where she likely shouldn't. Like a cat.

Scrapper: Zoe is a scrapper, and is not afraid of throwing hands or protecting herself and the people around her.

History: Zoe grew up as a street rat in Barcelona, Spain. She doesn't really have any memories of a time before that. What she does remember though, is when the pretty glowing lady started bringing her food. She had struggled and adapted to life without a stable food source, earning a number of small enemies out of other homeless people within the city. Theia, the glowing lady in this story, brought her food to help sate the hunger, but in doing so she only caused more problems for young Zoe. When some of the homeless people Zoe had crossed caught wind that she had a large amount of excess food, they fought her for it. Life for her was brutal and short, as one crowbar strike later, Zoe died over the admittedly meager food she tried to protect.

Theia, finding her after the fact, carried on her memory as she continued her travels as a fledgling deity. Eventually the witch, Wednesday Zawisa, created a familiar to accompany Theia on her journey that she named Zoe in remembrance. After Theia had outgrown the mortal plane many years later, Zoe's soul was collected from the afterlife and merged with that of the goddess's familiar. With that, Zoe was reborn in the modern day to find she wasn't alone anymore. She had a new family made up of misfits, and its time for her to try giving this normal girl life another shot.

Personality: Easy-going guy who doesn't say too much. Patient and laid back.

Body: Decent shape, got a bit of muscle, but isn't super defined or lean. A twunk if you will.

Face: Wears glasses, a couple black stud ear piercings. Slightly androgynous in facial features. Not particularly masculine or feminine though distinctly recognizable as male. Typically has a well-maintained closely trimmed beard.

Eyes: Sea Glass Green with almost glittery pupils

Hair: Dirty blonde. Shaggy length but can tie some of it up into a small manbun/ponytail if he feels like it.

Clothes: More modern casual. Oversized t-shirts, ripped jeans, converse, and the occasional denim jacket. Likes to wear some jewelry now and then. Probably a bit of a fuckboy in vibes.

Other: One of Matt's defining characteristics, is that he's got a voice like honey. Deeper, barest hint of rasp, full sound. He makes his moderate side income off it. He's got that dreamy voice that tends to draw attention when he talks. It's usually the first thing a person notices or that sticks out to people when they meet him.

He has some very hard-to-spot gills on his neck behind his jaw that lets him breathe underwater. These only appear when he is within enough water to actually use/need said gills.



SECTION THREE: Personality

Laid Back: Matt is generally pretty chill or relaxed. Doesn't get his boat rocked by small waves.

Manipulative: Matt is used to getting his way, and after getting in with the wrong crowd as a kid he's learned to use his powers whenever he feels like it to get what he wants.

Dangerous: Matt has a lot of patience for things, and the little stuff is no sweat off his back. When someone does manage to piss him off or get on his bad side, he can be more than a little vindictive.



Additional Information: Doesn't do well with the sound of gunshots. Makes him anxious and gets itchy when he's nervous or anxious. Really likes audiobooks and video games. Enjoys going to concerts, boating, and other extroverted things.

His voice is a point of pride for him, and he's not afraid to show off with different voice impressions he's practiced or accents he's picked up.

Matt really enjoys origami and carries a thing of post-it notes on him to fold in his idle time. He'll sometimes leave them in public places as an easter egg for people to find.

Will host board game nights where alcohol is applied liberally.

Has a small-moderate TikTok following that includes a few thirst traps and different clips featuring him covering famous quotes from popular media to moderate success.

Matt's Mesmer is always active, and he is unable to turn it off, though like traditional Mesmer it can be mitigated by obstructing a clear line of sight with his eyes or by blocking out his voice in some way.

Bonus: Forget me or forget me not(Altered Forgettable): While matt cannot control his mesmer ability, he can control whether people remember remember any of the specifics about him. Able to toggle this ability on and off at will. In tandem with his mesmer, he can use both abilities to make someone fully forget he was there with relative ease.

SECTION SIX: History

Place of Birth: Seattle

History: Matt grew up in Oakland California, but his parents were from Seattle. His mother a siren, and his father woo'd by her siren's song. They had a normal life up until Matt's siren powers started manifesting. An accident on the playground later, and the once traditional family moved to Oakland to start anew. It was there that Matt met Elijah Castillo, who was mixed up in the wrong crowd. They were a few years apart, but became fast friends due to varying circumstances. It was there they spent a decent portion of their childhood growing up together, Matt getting tangentially pulled into a more underground style of life before a major event happened. Eli was in a shootout and ended up in prison, or more accurately Juvie.

Matt stored away some things that could have gotten himself arrested if he was caught, and he almost was if it hadn't been for the fact that his words had always been able to get him what he wants. A few years went by, he and his parents grew apart and he eventually ran away before he was 18. Hitching a ride and making his way across the western coast going from place to place, smooth-talking his way into various places to stay. After a while of this, he grew bolder, more direct. He started worming his way into the high life one sucker at a time until eventually he got the call that Eli was getting out. After wrapping up some stuff, and getting some money from a few rich sugar momma's he'd been keeping wrapped around his thumb, he made his way to Polaris Pass to reconnect with his old friend.

The head wings are not out by default. Her natural form has a halo above it, though her cosmetic shifting allows her to hide this and her wings.

History: Dena lived her early years with her mother in Miami, hearing tales of how her father was someone special. How if she were lucky, she might be someone special too. As luck would have it, she was. With the coming of adolescence came wings, and her signature halo denoting her angelic heritage. When her angelic abilities took shape, her father came to take her away to learn the ways of being a watcher. Angels who watch over humankind and ensure they continue unaffected by outside influences. She wasn't a full angel, but she had enough in her that she was taught their ways and inevitably assigned her first target. A vampire who was influencing humans too much, making too much noise on occasion. She was only to interfere if the balance was at stake, and it never quite reached that point. Instead, she watched the inevitable death of her charge from the sidelines, having grown a compassionate heart after watching them for as long as she did. It tore at her to not interfere, but she did her duty and simply watched.

With her previous charge dead, she was lauded for a job well done upon her return to her father, the experience left her feeling empty in ways she didn't like. Having been given a new charge to watch, she made her way to Polaris Pass to assume her role within the community and begin her next job. Watching one demon who her father and the other watchers wanted to keep a closer eye on, as well as keep on eye on the town at large. Lately too much attention has been drawn to the not-so-sleepy town according to the watchers.

Tristan's hobbies include:

Aerial Rope: Tristan grew up in a nomadic tribe of fae that features many spider themed powers and abilities. While they were not a circus, the art of performing was something they held dear to their customs. The theater was how they told stories of their past, of experiences the wandering court had survived, and of fables meant to teach. Tristan found solace among the sky, tethered by only a single rope. It brought him peace to dance in such a vertical way. It keeps him in good shape, and is one of his core creative outlets.

Antiquing: Tristan is drawn toward significance. The weight of experience and connection that is attached to all things, pulling on fate like gravity. Amongst a pile of junk may lie a old tarnished ring that was once worn by a well reknowned member of the community, and while the material itself is worthless, its sentimental value is like a firm tether on the world around it. Rare things have a way of pulling people toward them, and tristan loves discovering these connections.

Poetry: Given his wandering Troupe, Tristan has always had a desire to be good at poetry, though he struggles to make anything of significance. He hopes one day that he'll create a work that could form connections with countless people, something that grows significant because of its impact.

Tristan's prized personal affects, objects he holds most dear:

A Pink Strand of Gossamer: His mother had similar talents to himself, and she was known amongst the troupe for being able to weave such beautiful workings of silk. As a gift to him on one of his birthdays, she wove a pink hued strand of silk into a necklace. It has an almost metallic sheen but is as soft to touch as silk. It is one of the few momento's he still has of his home, and he cherishes it deeply.

Stories From Home: Tristan has many stories from his home, collected bits of memory that talk of his people. He has a special scroll made of his own gossamer silk that he can create rudimentary stories with. Should these memories ever be at risk, one way or another, he would fight viciously to keep them. They help to form his identity, and his culture is important to him. If he were asked, he would likely be willing to recite some of them, performatively if he's inclined enough. This could be in the form of expressive dances, simple retellings, or even weaving the story with his scroll of silk.

Spellcasting: Oathbinding/contract magic - Tristan is capable of creating magical oaths and contracts. This can range from simple things, like adding magical weight to a promise someone makes, or enabling more advanced things. These magical contracts can enable the transfer of metaphysical things, as well as physical things. ex. trading one's power for wealth. These contracts can't produce something from nothing though, requiring anything being traded, swapped, or given to be something a person has personal claim over. Tristan is not required to be an active participant in a deal or oath to use this magic, as he could for example, hear someone make a promise to a third party and work his magic to reinforce it magically.

Fateweaving - Tristan is able to alter the fate of nearby peoples, places, and things. A subtle small gesture might create a weak connection between two people nearby, making them more likely to run into each other in the future for a time. A more powerful working of this magic might connect a person to a place, causing events in that person's life to steadily lead them back to that place, usually until they accomplish some kind of goal there. At his most powerful, Tristan could likely alter a person's fate dramatically and in much less subtle ways. How this affects characters is generally up to player discretion, and often times requires burning a similarly significant connection either in the form of objects with strong connections or connections to more metaphysical things like memories, one's name, etc.



Core Advantage: That Which Binds - Tristan can produce very thin, yet very strong and durable silk strands from his fingertips. Trying to pull a single one of these strands apart would be challenging for someone with 3x strength, and could hold up to 4x strength for a respectable amount of time before snapping. Mundane bladed instruments would significantly struggle to cut through these strands below 3x strength. Producing a lot of this silk in a short time can leave Tristan drained and unable to produce more until he rests and recovers. Tristan is able to manipulate these strands with deft control, but they are not particularly fast or slow. Given these strands are thin, they can be hard to see, especially in low light. Tristan can leverage his unique sense along these strands very effectively, like a spider sensing vibrations long its web.

Bonus: Veil Walker - Tristan can walk on either side of the veil, choosing to hide himself from view of unawakened humans or allow himself to be seen. If he pushes the boundaries of human perception too much, it can break this affect, but otherwise he might as well be invisible to unawakened humans if he doesn't want to be seen.

*Tristan can see the connections between people and places. He see's these as gossamer strands between these two things or people. The more distant the end points of the threads, the harder it is to interact with them. The stronger the connection, the easier it is to see the nature of the connection. ex. Someone who just moved into a home has a weak connection to it, and that thread may fall off and be hard to glean anything from, while someone's childhood home or mother might be a strong thick strand of connection that tristan can read more into. What he see's is mostly up to player discretion, and is almost always accompanied by unique music. Tapping into a strand to sense more about the connection is accompanied by music. He may touch upon a strand that represents the concept of someone's childhood home, and the music may be fierce and combative or tame and comforting. He can't see specific things or instances, but he can glean general outlooks. Just the nature of the connection.

Art Credits: If you are using images for your character they must be credited, including clarifying the type of art (fanart, original, commission, adopt, etc). If you are not using any art, note as much.
