A few turns away from Polaris Pass Mainstreet sits Yolk, a fairly upscale Western restaurant, specializing in food from across the pond in Europe. Combining food from multiple different cultures in the distinct way that the American can, Yolk is a few rungs below true high-end fine dining, opting to have a more accessible menu while still being what one can consider fine dining.
The restaurant is clean and simple but elegant, the kind of place one could wear a suit to and not be out of place. A spacious dining room serves 25 tables at once, while in the kitchen in the back the chefs work to produce the amalgamation of a menu that incorporates French, Italian, and local American flavors. Reviews at large say it works, but every now and then the occasional customer will claim it isn't authentic enough and that their nonna could do better.
Among the current employees is chef Luna Williams-Currie, who runs the pasta station of the restaurant. No, she doesn't know why an Englishwoman went to America to serve Italian pasta.
