Dahlia Black is the frontwoman for an all femme heavy rock/power metal band called Two Thirds Valor. The band is successful enough on their own merits now, but a lot of their early success is owed to Dahlia's mother, Malara, funding them and getting them gigs despite their early lack of talent or skill. The band's name comes from a description of Medb, an 'evil woman' from Irish mythology whose beauty supposedly robbed men of "two thirds of their valor." A lot of their songs follow that trend, highlighting or referencing powerful women in history and mythology who got cast as villains by the people writing their stories.

The band needs, at the very least, a drummer, a bassist, and a lead guitarist. Other members can be suggested, but I might reject the idea if I feel it doesn't fit with the band's themes or if I feel like it would make the band too large.

The band members are all friends to one degree or another, but they are definitely Dahlia's "mean" friends (i.e. the ones that she terrorizes and bullies people with). She keeps them separated from her other friends, like Alex Drake, because she doesn't want to be put in a position where she has to turn on her "nice" friends to keep up her reputation with her "mean" ones.

Of note, one of the band members is a demon who Dahlia was directed to by Chloe. Ostensibly this was done because Chloe owed her a favor and she is a genuinely good musician, but the demonic bandmate also regularly reports on Dahlia to Chloe at the latter's request. Dahlia is generally unaware of this, and it will destroy her if she ever learns that one of her closest friends was "hired" by her mother to be her babysitter.

I would like to make a character who plays the bass, the gayest of band instruments.
