Hey dudes!
I'm currently working on two boys — Kit, 16 or 17, and Ozzy, probably around 8-10 or around 13. They're brothers and fresh out of Hell, literally and metaphorically, and come from a subsect of Hell that I refer to as the End. I'll post some lore somewhere for that, eventually. Their older brother Sitsohm might also be featured, though he is an independent adult by this point. What I'm seeking is someone, or someone(s), to take these boys in and integrate them. They're going to be very rough around the edges at first. Ozzy might be a bit easier, the cocky duck, but Kit not so much. He's quiet and unsure, and heavily traumatized, but also very determined. He may be very quick to the defensive at first, and would likely warm up more quickly to places with other teens. It's also worth noting that the boys are a bit codependent, and Kit has functionally been Ozzy's parent for a long time as well as his sibling, so these plots won't be entirely smooth.
The basic arrival story is: When Sitsohm heard about a demon going by a similar name to his thought-to-be-lost brother's, he journeyed back to the End and tracked down Kit and Ozzy. From there, he managed to bring them to Polaris as well. Most likely, they got magically separated during the transition.
One idea I've had is that Sitsohm was taken in by someone several years ago in Polaris, after mastering a self-summoning circle and showing up in Polaris Pass as an older teenager. Since then, he would have completed various studies and gone on to be a gentleman, a scholar, and an aspiring political activist for the End. During the rescue and whatever separating chaos ensued, he told the kids to track down the person who took him in. Alternately, he may have already made arrangements for this.
Sitsohm could be prepared to take them in himself, but I'm also slightly leaning away from that, considering the direction he wants to take his life in.
Another idea is that, all this may have happened, but not in Polaris at all. Perhaps Polaris is the "safest" town he could immediately think of during a panic, and sent them here despite originally planning to integrate himself. He may have sent them with some papers, he may have sent them with nothing. Someone may have then taken the boys in. A stranger, though Kit is slow to trust, but more likely it may have been a friend of Sitshom's that he told them to find until he comes back.
I am also mildly interested in someone else playing Sitshom himself, if you're open to discussing their pasts in depth!
Or, to someone playing a foster sibling(s) while the parents are NPCs, though I do very much like the idea of being able to play out parental-esque guidance. Missing this isn’t my ideal, HOWEVER, due to the sheer number of young in’s without played parents, I’m definitely open to this.
