Description:
Jodie's Diner is a hard place to miss. While still keeping the classic diner car design, the building has been completely updated and renovated.
The name Jodie's Diner glows vibrantly in a bright neon sign on top of the diner.
Inside is even more retro. The floors are checked and neon lights line the ceilling. There is a classic jukebox in the corner along with a small gift shop.
As expected for a tourist trap, they sell all sorts of merchandise. There is the infamous "I Beat The Sasquatch." Shirt and more cryptid themed gifts. There is even stuff of Mama Jodie including a cookbook, apron, and t-shirts.
Location: Jodie's Diner is located right on Mainstreet. It's not hard to miss, especially with the neon sign.
History:
Jodie's Diner is a well known Diner in Polaris Pass that existed since the late 40s.
The Diner's nickname "Mama Jodie's" refers to the original owner Jodie Bennett. Mama Jodie was a staple in the community, she would cook meals for those who were in need and hold various cookouts for the community. Her cooking eventually caught the attention of tourists which allowed her to open up her very own restaurant.
Nowadays, Jodie's is run by her descendants. They have made a few upgrades to the menu and building over the years and now it's fully playing on the tourist trap vibes.
The Menu:
Jodie's Diner serves 24hr Breakfast and classic American foods.
There is also the newly named Sasquatch Burger and Jersey Devil wings.
The Sasquatch Burger is a beast fit for the name. It's a Double Cheeseburger made with 1/2lb patties. It has melted cheddar cheese, pickles, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and bacon. Your choice of sauce. The burger is placed on homemade and toasted brioche buns.
Its served with fries or onion rings and comes with a drink. You can upgrade the drink into a Milkyway Milkshake.
If you aren't feeling brave and bold, there is The Sasquatch Jr. Its just your regular sized cheeseburger.
The Jersey Devil Wings are as hot as they sound. They are made with Mama Jodie's secret "Jersey Devil" Sauce.
The wings can be fried, grilled, or oven-roasted. They come in 5pc or 10pc. They are served with a fries or onion rings and comes with a drink. You can upgrade the drink into a Milkyway Milkshake.
Also on the sweeter side of things you have Mama Jodie's Famous Peach Cobbler and Sweet Potato Pie.
