Personality
Gold-tongued devil. Fitz talks fast and sweet, because vinegar attracts more flies than honey and he doesn't want any flies. He's particularly good at picking out insecurities in a person and weaponizing them in ways to flatter or enrage, depending on his mood.
Silver spoons, stolen. Fitz has a taste for the finer things in life: good food, expensive booze, and high class entertainment. But not being born into that kind of privilege, he's learned that the best way to enjoy them is by taking them. He considers himself a bit of a modern day Robin Hood, and will absolutely give to those less fortunate than himself... after he's skimmed off his 'finder's fee,' of course.
Bronze medals are for the dead. Fitz lives for thrills, and the inherent danger in his work is as appealing to him as the payout. Usually within reason, he has been known to toe the line that separates 'brave' from 'stupid.' He has a bit of a completionist streak as well, and can get hung up on little things that he missed even when he succeeded overall.
- Additional Information
- Fitz normally speaks with a really watered down Cajun accent.
He's an accomplished close up magician, only sometimes aided by his actual illusions and magic.

History
Born to completely mundane parents in the central United States, Fitz's soul was fused to the spirit of a magician's rabbit. The creature, tired of being caged and endlessly pulled out of hats, escaped the only way it knew how; with a little bit of real magic.
His parents remained Sleepers for the first few years of his life, but after they separated due to his mother's infidelity, Fitz began to act out. He started using his abilities to cause mischief, which led to the awakening of his step father. It wasn't long before CPS got involved, and the boy was placed in the foster system.
Things didn't fare better for Fitz there. He bounced from home to home, often accused (rightly so, though without evidence) of stealing or flat out just running away. By the time he was sixteen, he had the means and the will to fully disappear from the system. Abandoning the group home he had been placed in, Fitz ran away and fell in effortlessly with a criminal element. He made himself useful, joking to his clients that 'a magician never reveals his secrets' when he was questioned about how he managed the things that he did.
It was in Portland that he learned about Polaris Pass, and the potential goldmine of business he could get there. With his name officially changed to something more alliterative and fun-sounding, he started staking out the town to see what it could offer him.
