Maple

I'll cover the power updates first:
  • Removed Under Orders disadvantage by using her until recently unused bonus
  • Removed references to under orders, or her creators, from nerfs & flavor as well as from her core disadvantage
  • removed the line in nerfs and flavor about how there could only ever be two of her in Polaris Pass at a given time
  • removed reference in core advantage to her being effectively immortal as long as the infrastructure used to make more of her stays intact - it is no longer intact
  • removed some details about how the synchronizing works and the difference between partial / full synchronization - now It Just Works and I am not going to worry about the mechanics too much
  • Specified in core advantage that there are exactly 3 of her.
  • added note in nerfs and flavor about how maples 3, 5, and 9 are the ones in play
  • Reworded core advantage with no real change in functionality beyond above bullet points
  • updated other stuff irrelevant to powers. Personality updates,
old core advantage text:
Maple has a chip in her brain that allows her to not only access the internet and other computer networks, but also back up most of her consciousness to a specialized computer system in the main NEK0 facility in Japan, to be implanted in or synchronized with clones of herself. This gives Maple the following capabilities:
  • Internet and phone network access similar to the "Walking Smartphone" advantage
  • Ability to circumvent most network security measures, given enough time and concentration
  • Commit certain pieces of information to her shared long-term memory with perfect accuracy
  • Synchronize her memories with the 1-2 other clones of herself that exist elsewhere in the world at any given time. Partial synchronization can be done over mundane networks, full synchronization requires a special device that she brings with her when she travels.
  • Have her memories and consciousness implanted into new clones of herself, giving her a form of immortality as long as the infrastructure is maintained
Old core disadvantage text:
Maple and all of her clones contain a device that can add an extra layer of control to her beyond her under orders. This device tracks her, can induce pain, pleasure, or sleep, and can even vaporize her. Her creators, or a sufficiently advanced hacker, could trigger these effects remotely. Maple can trigger the device herself to vaporize her current body in the event of capture or compromise, and she is under orders to do so under certain circumstances.
Old nerfs and flavor:
  • There is a hierarchy of whose orders for Maple override those of others. Generally speaking, the more closely related one is to the company, or the higher up, the more their orders take priority
  • Maple gets high when using catnip and some related plants. The high lasts for about 5 minutes, after which she can't be affected for about half an hour.
  • Nobody else fully understands the contents of her consciousness database. It can't be audited.
  • One of her clones normally lives in Japan with one of the NEK0's original creators. There could be at most two of her in Polaris Pass at one time.
