Situation: Lives in a small apartment above their shop with their wife Morgan. Makes enough money to live semi-comfortably.

Body: Very thin body, pale white skin. Most of their veins seem to be blackish in nature.

Face: A longish oval face, definitely has bags under his eyes.

Eyes: Dark brown, nearly always bloodshot in some way.

Hair: Short brown hair with a few steaks of gray

Clothes: Almost always wears heavy robes of various colors.

Other: To unawakened humans they would not see his dark veins and would most likely see Selkiris as someone who doesn’t go outside much due to his complexion.



SECTION THREE: Personality

Bookworm: Selkiris is almost always engrossed in a book of some kind. Typically they will prefer reading than any type of social interaction if it is at all possible.

Curious Wizard: One of the few ways to actually get Selkiris to typically interact with you is to bring up magical topics or any topics he has not heard off. He is naturally curious and will very easily fall into rabbit holes if a mystery is presented. He is also a very proud mage so he is more than happy to discuss any magic topics someone may have

Lovestruck Idiot: The absolutely most important person in existence for Selkiris is his wife Morgan. He will do just about anything to keep her happy and can be quite protective of her, being very wary of anyone who potentially could bring any form of harm to her.

Momentous: Creating small, supernova like blasts. Creating a mini ethereal galaxy filled with stars and planets.

Gesture (Minor- Used for all Magic): Simple to elaborate hand gestures used for all of Selkiris’s magic
Incantation (Major- Used for Major and Momentous Magic): Selkiris must utter ancient words of power to evoke the power of the spell properly. If it is not completed he must repeat it.
Physical Fatigue (Momentous- Used for momentous magic): Selkiris will pass out and when they wake up they won’t be able to do anything except minor physical activity for a day

Core Advantage:
Reality Bend-
Selkiris can perform a unique type of teleportation. He can ‘bend’ reality in a sense to connect where he his currently standing and anywhere within 50 feet for a moment. When he does this he will appear at the point he connected to where he was. To everyone around him it appears as if it just suddenly vanishes and quickly reappears at the target destination.


Bonus:
Immortal- Due to Selkiris brush with the unknowable his body has seemingly been frozen in time. He no longer ages and will effectively live forever if not killed.

Occupation: Selkiris is the owner of a little magic shop in Polaris Pass

Wealth: Selkiris lives in semi-comfort. Usually can afford what he and his wife needs however sometimes money can be tight.



SECTION SIX: History

History:
Selkiris was born in the 1200s into a prestigious family of mages. The Devry family was quite well known in the magic community for their extensive magical knowledge and numerous supernatural connections. Selkiris’s life was rife with expectations to measure up to the magical prowess of the rest of the family, which he eagerly accepted. He spent most of his life studying and practicing multiple types of magic to try and over shine the rest of his family, which is how he met the love of his life Morgan. He had encounter Morgan during one of his training sessions and it was pretty much love at first sight.

After that day Selkiris had begun to train less and less, spending more time with his future wife. His family, while disappointed in the beginning, finally came to accept Selkiris deep love for Morgan and gave the two the family’s blessing. The got married roughly six years after they had first met and quickly moved away to their own quiet cottage.

Selkiris’s scarring was caused by an anniversary gift gone wrong. Selkiris had known of Morgan’s infatuation for the stars and space in general and perused the art of Astral magic in an attempt to give her a gift she would never forget. In this pursuit Selkiris accidentally had gotten an encounter with what appeared to be a serpent like creature that seemed to be older than the universe itself. The encounter wasn’t enough to leave Selkiris mad, but it still caused extensive scaring on Selkiris’s body and an image Selkiris would never get out his head for the rest of the life.

Eventually Morgan and Selkiris had decided to leave England in desire for a taste of something new and fresh. This journey lead them to America where they settled down in the town of Polaris Pass, where Selkiris established their own ‘magic’ shop (Morgan had forbid him from selling anything actually magic in fear of injury or lawsuit) and bought a small apartment above of the shop.

Occupation: Blacksmith/Glass Blower



Appearance: Tall, lithe man in his mid 20s with fiery red hair and dark green eyes.

Personality: Extremely prideful in both his work and his family.

Abilities: Heat Generation and other dragon shenanigans.

Situation: Modestly comfortable with him and his father’s earnings made during their daily forgings.



SECTION TWO: Appearance
Height: 6’ 2”

Body: European male, with a slim build. Not much that is distinctive physically anywhere.

Face: Roundish with a defined jawline, seems to have rather sharp incisor teeth when he smiles

Eyes: To the unawakened they are like a deep, sparkling emerald. To the awakened they are a bright ruby color.

Hair: Short, with a deep red hue. To the awakened this red tint is even more defined.

Clothes: Usually wears rather baggy clothing when not working, usually with some tribal looking necklaces and bracelets

SECTION THREE: Personality

Naritoloth above all else: Malek was raised with a clan attitude like many dragons. He of course sees his clan as the superior one, above all other dragon clans. He does not often vocalize this however as he sees no reason to argue about their superiority with other dragon clans, unless they seriously insult his clan.

Extreme Naturalist: Malek has a dislike of machine made items. While it will admit their efficiency and level of mass production is unparalleled, they simply don’t have the same spirit as items made by hand. Because of this Malek will go out to try and get as many hand crafted items as he can, such as clothing, furniture, meals, tools, and anything else that he can find.

Working beyond limits: Another part of the Naritoloth mentality. When you do a job, you will do it until it is done. Malek is extremely stubborn when he sees something as a ‘job’ he has to do. He has been known to push himself to near exhaustion at some points trying to complete his work, as he rarely takes breaks as they only are wasting time he could be using to complete what he is working on.

Core Advantage:
Magmatic Crucible-
Malek comes from the Naritoloth clan, which are fire (more specifically lava/magma) dragons. While he usually regulates his own body temperature to slightly above that of a human, Malek can stop regulating it and let it return to its natural levels. Malek’s normal body temperature can reach 200 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit which will also radiate out to the area around him slightly. This is only amplified in his dragon form where his temperature can become very close to that of lava.

Core Disadvantage:
Serious water Allergy-
Small amounts of water such as light to medium rain isn’t much more than a mild annoyance to Malek. In large enough quantities however it can be seriously dangerous for him. With enough water, Malek’s body temperature will not only start to drop but his own body (and in serious extremes, blood) can harden much like obsidian does when lava cools. This hardening can make it extremely painful to even move for Malek and to reverse this hardening he must stay exposed to high enough temperatures for a long enough time to ‘melt’ the hardening skin (or blood) back to its normal state.

SECTION SIX: History

Date of Birth: March 8th

Place of Birth: Mt. Vesuvius, Italy

History: Malek was born of the ‘Mountain Lord’ Olnazzar and the human Mala at the foot of the great Mt. Vesuvius in Italy. Due to Malek’s incredibly slow aging due to his dragon blood, his mother had passed away before he could truly know her. Because of this he was raised solely by Olnazzar for most of his life.

Malek was a part of the clan of Naritoloth dragons, a small and relatively reclusive clan compared to the other dragon clans in Europe. Not many clans knew much about the strange Naritoloths, besides their occasioanly nomadic nature and supposed status as master craftsmen and the Naritoloths did not care enough about relations with other clans to share any more information about their ways of life.

Malek of course was raised as all Naritoloths were, learning a craft to master and following the religion of their dragon god ‘Mal’. Malek spent most of his years side by side with his father, traveling across much of Europe and learning how to eventually rule the clan once Olnazzar finally moved on. It was Olnazzar idea to actually immigrate to America though, having the idea that Malek should make a name for himself outside the heavily contest European region (and also letting the old dragon take a break and see some new sights in his old age). So Malek and his father departed from the main clan to begin their humble life as smiths in the small town of Polaris Pass, though of course keeping in occasional contact with the clan to make sure everything is alright.

Appearance: A heavily scarred, smug asshole who is always dressed for the worst occasions.

Personality: The actual worst human being, can hold his tounge and play a role if he really needs to but really he is just the absolute worst.

Abilities: A bracelet of mental magic immunity and happens to be filthy rich

Situation: Living in a rather lavish apartment with every need they have taken care of.

Face: Missing his left eye, with a scar over the side of it. Black skull piercings are on both of his earlobes.

SECTION THREE: Personality

#1 Worst Human Being: Gyres seemingly has almost no morals. He does just about whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He also loves to start shit if he thinks he can get away with it. If he doesn’t see you as an ally or hasn’t made any deals with you, you are simply potential collateral in whatever he is doing.

Man of his word: One of the few morals that Gyres actually has is that he always keeps promises. Despite his heavy involvement in crime even as a kid, he was raised to always keep his word, as what good is a crime lord that not even his underlings can trust? Because of this, Gyres of course is very hesitant to make promises to others as he knows he will have to uphold it.

Play your Part: Gyres has been known to quickly come up with roles and personas for himself on the spot to cover up his true nature. He often takes on the role of a successful ‘entrepreneur’ or ‘investor’ to explain away his money and activities to others so he doesn’t draw too much attention.

Core Advantage: Gyres always has an item simply known as the ‘Bracelet of Immunity’ on his person. This bracelet grants the wearer complete immunity to any mental effects magic might cause such as hypnosis, inducing fear, or mental suggestions. It also passively lets Gyres see through illusions.

Bonus: Dirty Money- Gyres has an immense amount of wealth due to his inheritance of family fortunes and the flow of money coming in from his criminal empire

SECTION SIX: History

Date of Birth: June 8th

Place of Birth: New York City, New York

History:
Gyres was born in the bustling world of New York City on June 8th to a local crime boss and witch Shea Felnoc. From birth he was raised into the criminal life style, from pickpocketing as a child, to coke dealer and mugger later on in his teenage years Gyres was exposed to every nasty thing the world had to offer right from the beginning. Even Gyres’s cannibalism was taught by his mother, who introduced him to it after his first kill as a ‘congratulations’ for him. Gyres was raised from birth to be just as terrible as his mother if not worst.

Gyres only left New York City after his mother finally encouraged him to start his own criminal empire and ‘make her proud’. Gyres was promptly ‘removed’ from her empire and all his ties with it cut, thought not before he was gifted a very generous sum of money and a family heirloom known as the ‘bracelet of immunity’. At age 20 Gyres moved to Portland and promptly set up his own drug dealing buisness which was an immediate success. Gyres’s network slowly expanded over the next twelve years to become the empire it is now. Covering almost every illegal activity there is, expanding to other nearby cities and even states Gyres now rules one of the biggest criminal empires in the Northwest. Because of this Gyres has since moved to the nearby tourist town of Polaris Pass to keep a low profile. He mostly deals with his criminal empire remotely now and only deals with things personally if it is truly necessary.
