Height
Human Form: 5ft 6in / Rakshasa Form: 6ft 8in
Body
Human Form: Slender build with well toned muscle and an unblemished tawny skin tone.
Rakshasa Form: Built like a professional bodybuilder, with skin striped in a green, blue, red and copper hues in a tiger like pattern covered in white coloured sharp bristles. Has a long and slender tail like one would typically expect of a demon.
Face
Human Form: Slender unblemished face with brown eyes. A broad nose and a cunning smile that creates two dimples in his cheeks
Rakshasa Form: Striped skin like the rest of his body with a blue stripe that covers his face in a symmetrical war paint like pattern. Large lips, teeth like daggers and a long tongue reside within a mouth that stretches across his face. High cheekbones and protruding brow bones with long needle like ears that rise behind and up to the line of his hair.

Rakshasa Form: Lol, no; That's what illusion magic is for. He has a suit of armour somewhere but its kept safe and rarely worn these days.

Personality

No Nonsense: Hadi tends to be direct and clear with what he wants and confident with how he articulates it. He is direct and to the point though he doesn't suffer fools and has no issues expressing that fact. His no nonsense approach also manifests itself in how he conducts his business, an eye for detail and expectation of professionalism however can come across as ruthless in pursuit of his end goal.

Charming: He is cool, calm and collected, a smooth operator who knows exactly what he wants and has no issues talking someone in to getting it. Friendly and outgoing, more than happy to talk to strangers. He can come across as charming and flirtatious though his actions are often used in pursuit of his own ends and can be easily construed as pushy or manipulative.

Vengeful: Hadi does not take no for an answer and if something, or someone, gets in his way he will do his best to remove any obstacle in his path; even the smallest infraction he can take personally and whether he shares it or not he does not easily forget or forgive. He isn't keen to accept that people can change if they prove themselves to be an obstacle to him and can be prone to vindictive behaviour if it means he can either get even at minimum or get rid of something that might prevent him realising his goals.

Additional Information
Needy: Hadi has to stay close to other people. And though he doesn't like to show it, he will use his charm and his business as a means to do so. He literally cannot be alone so will use whatever tool he can find to ensure there is at least someone within twenty feet of him at all times.

Gym Shark: Rakshasa are known for their violent feats of warfare and strength. In a modern society where melee combat is generally hard to come by, Hadi instead uses the gym as a means to scratch the physical itch he tends to crave. Pushing himself hard is a hobby to him that he enjoys, well versed in how to get the most out of his form though it can come across as vain. Given that few can see the body that lies beneath Hadi's illusion magic, he can come across as almost delusional at the amount of progress he's making to those who don't know him all that well.

Spellcasting
Spellcasting Theme: Illusion Magic

Core Advantage
Soul Displacement: By using his magic, Nahlakor is able to move portions of his soul from Hadi's body to another. By doing this he is able to either create a new Rakshasa by leaving a part of his soul behind in his previous body or; turn other people into Rakshasa by stripping the majority of their soul away and giving them a portion of his own greater than what is left of theirs. This has the effect of turning the human into Hadi's monstrous form over a space of one month. Rakshasa formed from Humans gain the same advantages and disadvantages as Hadi however have one year to live unless Hadi chooses to sustain them. They also gain Hadi's memories and the memories of those turned into Rakshasa as if they were their own. The effect on non-human creatures is only partial, physical traits are passed until the limit is reached. Soul displacement can only be done by consent of the person who's body is being entered.
Core Disadvantage
Vesselless Form: The shaitan known as Nahlakor who controls the body known as Hadi Suryanto can be released if either dispelled/exorcised using magic or if Hadi is killed. Nahlakor's vesselless form has the following advantages and disadvantages...

Advantages:
Induce Sin: Vanity
Induce Sin: Wrath
Induce Sin: Lust
Induce Sin: Gluttony
Flight

Disadvantages:
Anchor: Other Souls / People
Imminent
Magically Dependent
Magically Vulnerable
Aversion: Holy Symbols

In addition...
- Is completely invisible, only able to be viewed or made visible using magic
- Is completely incorporeal and cannot interact with the physical world except via its illusion magic
- Cannot re-enter a dead vessel and must therefore find a new vessel to inhabit

Normally if Nahlakor is removed, Hadi's body would die though it may be possible to find a way to save Hadi. Doing so will cause Hadi to loose most traits and spellcasting listed above though will retain his monstrous form.
Nerfs and Flavor
Mio The Dog: To account for how difficult being in such close proximity to a soul is when inhabiting a physical body, Hadi has a dog which he uses as his anchor when it is not possible to be close to another human. The dog is called Mio and he's a white Kintamani, his bosses were generous enough to let him bring with him from his past life in Jakarta.

History

Date of Birth
Hadi: 17th June 1994 / Nahlakor: 9th August 1809
Place of Birth
Hadi: Padang, Indonesia / Nahlakor: Hell
Nahlakor was a demon, sent to Indonesia with the purpose of cheating humans out of their souls to be sent to hell for their masters benefit; a feat usually achieved by promising to get something done and leading them astray for their soul in return. He did this successfully for many hundreds of years however unbeknownst to him had managed to attract the attention of an Asura who watched over the people in the places where he operated. Annoyed with the demon and his attempt to manipulate his followers, the Asura appeared before Nahlakor disguised as a crane who made the demon an offer. The Asura promised Nahlakor a form of magic that would corrupt any human he touched, turning his victims into monsters which the Asura intended for use in his army in the ever lasting war against the Deva. This magic would grant Nahlakor, jealous of the humans he sought to manipulate, a physical body which he could use for his own purposes; all Nahlakor had to do in return was ensure enough soul remained for the newly created monster to be pressganged into service by the Asura. Soldiers in an ever lasting war only needed enough life force to reach the battlefield and spying an opportunity, Nahlakor accepted the Asura's offer.

Nahlakor's monsters became Rakshasa, a fearsome demon of Hindu mythology; and Nahlakor was able to inhabit this form. Moving between new bodies like a parasite and creating more Rakshasa with short lives subservient to him and his Asuran masters, he carved off fragments of his soul to create more soldiers for the Asuras army while maintaining a small crew of his own to make his soul stealing antics all the more efficient. His masters in hell were impressed by his work however began to notice that as he carved off more and more parts of his soul, he was becoming weaker. Realising that a valuble asset had been tricked into slowly killing themselves and would cease to exist if Nahlakor continued to work for the Asura, they decided to offer him a promotion and a new patch away from the Asura's territory.

His mission was simple: Steal a soul large enough to heal the parts that he had lost and preferably one compatible with his own. Establish an enclave of Rakshasa to make his own work more efficient than other demons of his kind, like he had already in Jakarta and Singapore in the years before, and in the process: steal as many souls as possible. Even with the soul market in decline, people would still be willing to pay a premium for something more potent than a mere human soul. Accepting his brief he assumed the form of one Hadi Suryanto, a form he had been using for some time in Indonesia, and was promptly returned to earth. His destination: Polaris Pass.

Anything Else
Nahlakor's goal, like many a demon before them, is to raise an army and to steal souls; specifically the soul of one of Polaris Pass' supernatural residents. He won't succeed but there's drama in trying.

Inspiration comes from one section on the Wikipedia for Rakshasa which reads:
"Indonesian Muslims view the Rakshasas as the result of people whose soul is replaced by the spirit of a devil (shayāṭīn). The devils are envious of humans and thus attempt to possess their body and minds. If they succeed, the human adapts to the new soul and gains their qualities, turning the person into a Rakshasa."

The character is inspired by the works of Hindu folklore surrounding the Rakshasa and Islamic depictions of the Shaitan with research mostly done through Wikipedia, articles found on Noor Ul Islam's website, and the Hinduism Stack Exchange. While I have been careful to research for this character, if there are any errors I have made please tell me; I am open to critique and will try to do better. I hope I am able to do these stories justice while bringing this character to life.
