With the successful raid behind him and his people, Artemis wants to have a little celebration - and as luck would have it, he celebrates his birthday on the spring equinox - which usually falls on March 20th. As luck would also have it, the spring equinox is one of the four days out of the year when Artemis's household magic is at its strongest. He can set out feasts with minimal effort and limited ingredients. Hell, you can even break one of his walls down and he'll be able to repair it by singing and waving a claw hammer around or something - though he'd really prefer if you asked him before doing that.
Artemis's party will be at his home [link to location page with description pending, suffice to say it's a big place.] He'd ask that people stay out of his, Leo's, and Charlotte's bedrooms, his office, and the two weird magic rooms in his basement (the magic library and the casting room). The party would mostly take place in the living and dining room areas, as well as his backyard. There will be music and food and drinks - and at least some of the music will be from Artemis playing the piano, as he feels like it. He'd take special requests on the food, too, since he can just magic some of it up, and he'd encourage people to make those kinds of requests because he wants to show off.
For games, he has a few chessboards set up, a net with racquets for badminton outside, and a table with playing cards.
I want to make this a private ICC thread, which will be run kind of like an informal mini-event with a guest list. The thread will stay open until the end of this coming weekend. The people who received invitations include:
Let me know if you think there's someone else it would have made a lot of sense to be explicitly invited or not invited here. It's worth noting that Artemis did not invite Holly or Murasaki because he was pretty certain they would ruin the vibe from what he's heard or personally experienced from them recently. KC, Charlotte, and Leo would be in a good place to identify potential issues that Artemis might not i guess, and he'd run the guest list by them.
Any character invited can bring a plus one or two, just post here about it if that's the plan. I'll probably set up the thread either sometime tonight or tomorrow morning (within about 24 hours of my posting this)
