Body: Taller, busty, and a lot of her height comes from her legs. Generally average in terms of weight. They have a long tail covered in short black and white fur.

Face: Oval face shape though she does have a moderate jawline, strong cheek bones, and black tattoos under her eyes and on her forehead that are moon themed.

Eyes: Gray-blue eyes

Hair: Long straight black hair that fades to a gray-white toward the bottom. Her tail mimics this, though her cat-ears are all black.

Clothes: They don't have a defined clothing style yet.

SECTION THREE: Personality

Childlike: As Penelope is a new NEK0, she was in the process of being conditioned for her first owner. She's been almost completely sheltered aside from what they have trained her for, leaving her without many developed experiences to help define her.

Nervous, but eager: Penelope is a nervous cat, the stories she was told to keep her in line serving to create an eager companion out of her. She is quick to offer to aid, help, or assist someone out of fear of reprisal.

Lonely: Being Isolated from the moment she woke up, Penelope desperately craves any kind of connection. With the NEK0 association keeping an antagonistic and authoritative relationship with her, Penelope has a tendency to latch onto the people that indulge her needs with a fierce anxious attachment.



Additional Information: Penelope was in the process of having her personality molded by the association, creating a deeply ingrained interest in pagan practices, as well as making it part way through the process of making her believe she was the original Penelope. Thinking about her 'family'(The family of the original Penelope) often gives her headaches, as a part of her knows she doesn't have any actual family, but the part of her they curated knows their faces and names. She recognizes them as family, but.... can't remember anything about who they were aside from the superficial things.

Given her strong sense of anxious attachment, Penelope is prone to natural imprinting on people who meet her need for connection emotional security.

History:

Penelope Grace was originally a human woman. A strong personality with a penchant for (fake)witchcraft who lived every girls dream. A suave rich businessman, Logan Rothschild, came and changed her whole life while claiming love at first sight. Their relationship was one of heated quick passion, and Penelope fell for his charm and the lifestyle he offered her. Things went great, until they didn't. He developed a drinking problem, which led to domestic violence, a situation she struggled to escape from until eventually one drunken violent night ended her life. Logan awoke one morning to find he'd killed his fiance in a drunken rage, and covered it up. Eventually though the ruse of her being on an extended trip with some new friends started to make her family and his own suspicious, leading him toward an extreme route. Toward the NEK0 association.

He used his vast wealth and some DNA of the original Penelope to order a cat girl duplicate. So she was born from a vat, and her grooming process began to try and shape her into the perfect replacement, one Logan could control with an iron grip. The Association had begun the process of using advanced hypnosis practices to mold and shape her to believe that she is and always was the original penelope. That was.... until rogue NEK0 raided the associations facilities and rescued her. Now she has to figure out how to survive in this grand new world, and more importantly find her place amongst the survivors who came before her.

Body: mixed skin tone, lean and lightly muscled. Airemor is relatively androgynous.

Face: The upper half of his face is similar to a venician style mask, golden and regal. Cracks mar the mask nearest the eye holes, emitting an sort of anti-light. Something that shouldn't glow, but somehow does. This does not light up darkness at all. The lower half of his face is the same mixed skin with parts of the mask-like face creeping along his jaw intricately.

Galaxies lay within his eyes, entirely without pupils or iris's. Its like staring into the starry void.

Core Advantage: Touch of the Stars- Airemor is able to bless individuals with a touch, bequeathing to others a weakened version of any of his given advantages. These advantages are half as strong as the normal version, and play into Airemor's otherworldly disruption as he can sense whenever his magic is being used. Should Airemor decide, they can withdraw a blessing from an individual at any point with another touch, removing the advantage from the person along with it.

Core Disadvantage: Untamed Font of Magic - Airemor is connected to the source of magic of his home planet. Those with Magic Sense perceive him as a beacon of power that could be harnessed if they managed to find a way to utilize him. He has no way of hiding just how valuable a magical source he is.

Bonus: Travel Home(Home Planet)

Nerfs and Flavor: Someone attempting to read his mind is inundated with psionic feedback, like hearing billions of voices all at once.

When Airemor forms illusions, the magical energy starts off as translucent negative light energy with specks of stars in it.

Airemor doesn't need to breathe, and often flies into outer space in order to rest and feed on the cosmic radiation.

History: Airemor comes from the Planet Aldraxus, a significant distance away from earth within the grand scheme of the cosmos. The magic on Aldraxus operates differently than on earth, its inhabitants restricted to power only received through binding to places of power. A floating island might be a place of power aligned to air, and the center of a volcano a aligned to the power of fire or earth. At each place of power lay a trial which, if overcame, grants the victors powers in alignment with that place of power. Airemor was born from the planet itself, aligned with each and every place of power, both known and unknown. The wider scale universe would recognize him as a celestial, many planets with access to magic and intelligent species having a celestial. Beings that channel the power of an entire planet, whatever that power may be.

To Aldraxus, Airemor was a god. To Airemor.... being a god was boring. There had been no-one to play with when he was younger, and eventually he took to the stars in search of something to entertain him. People to play with. Near his planet though, Airemor was capable of too much. He caused more than a little havoc at first, before eventually he drew far enough away from his birth planet that his powers started to wane. He could play with people without breaking them now! Many years had gone by, but time didn't seem to affect him the same way it did the mortal races. Over the last thousand years Airemor only seemed to mature a little in terms of personality, though his body did seem to have grown. People finally stopped calling him a child! Eventually, Airemor found earth and its many interesting inhabitants. Maybe some of these people would like to play with him. :3

Anything else: Magic on Aldraxus does work differently, so any characters that follow Airemor through his travel home portal will find themselves lacking any and all normal powers they may have. This doesn't affect natural forms like a dragon's monster form, or the innate physical enhancements one might have for being a vampire or werewolf. It does affect any powers given by magical items. Any powers given by magical items will cease to function correctly or vanish completely on the planet, though they will return to normal once returned to a place other than Aldraxus. People who come to Aldraxus are able to bind to places of power though, which will grant them power while on the foreign planet. Anyone with an active blessing from Airemor will find the advantages bestowed through his Touch of the Stars ability become as powerful as their standard version would be as a result of being closer to the magic of Aldraxus.

Hair: Silvery hair that has a moderate wave to it. He buzzed the sides and left the top long enough to put in a ponytail. When its not up, it middle parts.

Core Advantage: Symbiosis - Ezra's demonic form evolved from a magically transmuted parasite. As a result, Ezra is able to symbiotically(willing) or parasitically(unwilling) infest another creature. He is not able to control a person while their will is intact unless they let him, but he is sustained in all ways as long as the host is alive. While he is symbiotically infested within a host, he can trigger a demonized form. The person who is hosting Ezra in this demonized form benefits from his advantages and also suffers from all of his disadvantages, stacking additively where applicable. While within a host, Ezra and the host can communicate mentally, and he is able to leave or manifest parts of his body at will.

Upgrade 1 - Enhance Telekinesis by 100% strength and allow for up to 1.5 times human sized object manipulation
Upgrade 2 - Minor Core Elemental Form(Bio-Steel) Ezra can externally harden parts his body into a type of bio-steel that is as durable as medium carbon steel.
Upgrade 3 - Anti-magic Venom, Ezra can secrete a type of venom that disrupts and destroys magic. People infected with this venom do not suffer any physical ailments, but find their access to magic either disrupted or cut off entirely depending on how large a dose they receive. This venom is only lethal to those with Magically Dependent as a Disadvantage. The venom wears off at the infected player's discretion with a minimum of 10 minutes.

Core Advantage: XXXXX is a paragon of luck. Passively, XXXXX is lucky when it comes to interactions that rely on chance. Dealt good cards when they sit down at a blackjack table, likely to end up at a slot machine thats ready to pay out, and most games that have an element of luck favor them. Past being passively significantly luckier than the average person, XXXXX has an active control over the luck of others. With a touch, XXXXX can increase or decrease another person's luck for an hour. XXXX's own luck is increased or decreased a proportional amount in the opposite direction. Lowering a person's luck increased XXXX's own and visa versa. This effect cannot be stacked on any indivdual but may affect multiple persons at a time. If XXXX changes too many people's luck in one area, this can increase the risk for catastrophic problems or miraculous strokes of luck.

El'anai Steel Sisterhood​

Description: An all female space faring race named the El'anai that has learned to bond with a sort of bio-organic metal they refer to as the mother metal. Becoming truly enmeshed with technology born from this metal, the steel sisterhood is the remaining lone faction of this race. Steel sisters are members of the group who have taken on roles outside of or governing over the megaship that houses what remains of a once great universal stage race. Each steel sister carries a piece of the mother metal within them that connects them to the larger collective in small ways. Most steel sisters simply have it in the form of their cybernetics, but some who have seen combat might have full limbs replaced with robotic copies. Some of the most tenured warriors of this race are more machine than woman.

Physically, El'anai are all darker skinned with either brown, black, or white hair. They are not typically any larger or smaller than standard human ranges of height and weight. They are known for having larger ears not unlike fantasy elves, but instead of being pointed up, they have a downward tilt, and they often have tails with relatively thick bases that thin out toward the tip, which is usually covered in fluffy hair that matches the hair on their head. Common eye colors are all vibrant blue, yellow, green, and steel gray. Many members of this species bond with the mother metal as children, and its encouraged very heavily within the culture to join the sisterhood should one ever have the inclination to travel the stars. Culturally, steel sisters are heavily revered for the risks they take for their people. Each sister generally takes the last name Steel symbolically, and it is considered a sacred thing upon accepting duties off-ship(their similar concept of going off world). Many steel sisters are charged with scouting the universe for resources, a potential new home for their people, and discovering technologies that might enhance the lives of their people. Different members of the sisterhood get different cybernetic augmentations based on the roles they wish to fulfill for their people.

The bio-organic metal each sister bonds with connects with them almost like an infection, leaving each of them sick for the better part of a week referred to as the 'Bonding Period'. Throughout this period, their nervous systems are changed and modified, their organs slightly reinforced and adjusted to increase compatibility, and their longevity is on average doubled from 80 years to 160 year lifespans. How the mother metal affects someone's base cybernetics might be different for each member, and what additional cybernetics a person has acquired can vary a fair amount.

There is a subsection of El'anai who think undergoing the bonding is bad, and perform silent acts of rebellion based on the principles of body purity and returning to their species roots, but this is for the most part an unpopular opinion.

This is a custom species. Rules for usage are mentioned above; however, custom species are intended to depict a specific species (or otherwise) and their lore must be complied with.

+ Unique Sense(Metal)- Being integrated with the sisterhood's mother metal opens a person's senses to other metals both mundane and magical within similar ranges to other human senses.
+ Cybernetic Constitution- Once Augmented with their mother metal, a person's body becomes much more stable with other technology being introduced. Facing no complications or rejections of artificial organs or limbs. Their body becomes perfectly able integrate with technology as long as the procedure would not kill them outright.

- Electrical Vulnerability- Steel Sisters are heavily susceptible to electricity based damage and disruptions. Given their bodies have been adapted with a bio-organic system of cybernetics, it can affect them in severe ways.
- Metallurgic diet- The bio-organic metal that has been integrated within their body requires regular absorption of mundane metals. This can usually be done by either eating or making prolonged contact with a source of metal.

Body: A somewhat soft muscularity that conveys a solid fitness foundation. She is down one arm, and one leg that is usually occupied with a prosthetic, and her tail was lost in the same accident.

Face: Her ears are long, like an elf's would be but turned down instead of up. She has a rounder, somewhat soft face.

Eyes: Vivid Ocean Blue

Hair: Long straight fully white hair that doesn't tend to carry much volume. Its a bit more coarse and stiff, as each strand is thicker and more rigid than human hair.

Clothes: She pretty consistently wears practical clothing, things that border on the premise that she might be in very dressed down military fatigues. She doesn't wear anything that flatters her feminine features.

Other: To those who are unawakened, she simply appears as a reasonably aged African American woman with heavily treated hair. Her eyes still appear blue, but sleepers likely get the impression that she's wearing contacts.



SECTION THREE: Personality

Jaded and Serious, but sometimes Snarky: Saeta has been through some really shitty situations, including the loss of two of her limbs. While her and her sisters as a people are good at fixing that, Saeta has seen enough unfavorable combat and social situations that its taken some of her innocence away in ways she struggles to cope with.

Worn Down: Saeta is an experienced veteren, and she's seen a lot of the stars. With most of her life lived under the strict rules and regulations of the sisterhood, she's lost some of her steam. Her role as a captain of her own crew has helped keep her operating at full steam, the pressure of those who depend on her keeping her sharp.

Mal-adaptive Coper: Saeta can handle most situations, but when the stress finally gets to her she has a tendency to indulge in less healthy behaviors. Dependent drug use, fights, short temper flares, gambling even to her detriment. She usually feels bad about these, but she also usually feels better after as well.



Additional Information: Being the captain of her crew doesn't mean she's perfectly close with them. There's a small disconnect that she maintains amongst her crew, the same disconnect that comes with having authority over someone. She had a closer bond with one of the crew members that originally joined up with her from her cadet days, but they perished a couple years ago and it changed something in her.

Having lost large portions of her body due to violence, Saeta sometimes feels phantom pains despite her Cybernetic Constitution.

Core Advantage: Artificial Gut Instinct - She's got a solid gut instinct, and knows how to follow it. More often then not she has a solid read on people and situations, feeling something is off when danger is near, or even catching on subconsciously when someone might be lying to her. Much like spider-man's spider sense. This is the result of a special research chip she got from the steel sisterhood that constantly analyses sounds, micro expressions, and other stimuli in order to try and predict danger and read social situations. It notices things Saeta doesn't consciously, and actively works to keep her safe and alive. This provides a limited Unique Sense(Emotions), but requires a clear line of sight and prolonged exposure to detect more subtle expressions. Those who are trained or generally less emotive require much more data for Saeta's chip to get a solid read on. As this isn't true mind reading, but just analyzing a person's external expressions and behaviors, the Advantage Mental Immunity does not affect this ability.

Bonus: Intuitive Aptitude(Athleticism)

Nerfs and Flavor: Saeta's Elemental projectile is fired from a small barrel embedded within her mechanical arm. its one of her primary Augmentations, and she has also been mentally augmented with a network kit enabling her walking smartphone stuff.

Saeta has two other brain implants, the first of which is the artificial AI that operates as her gut instinct core, and the second chip constantly reads in physical data and increases her athletic abilities. The athletic chip makes her spatial awareness and proprioception much better, allowing her to accurately move her body in the ways she needs to in order to achieve the intended outcome. This applies to things like parkour, acrobatics, general aim improvements, and muscle memory.

Place of Birth: El'anai Mothership

History: Saeta was like any other El'anai, bonding with the mother metal at a young age at the encouragement of her family and friends. Filled with an almost divine sense of purpose she enlisted in the Steel Sisterhood, the governing force of her peoples, and took to the stars to seek out opportunities and technologies for her kin. In many ways, she was a typical forward cadet. Given to a team of other steel sisters, she was trained and went on missions and adventures, eventually rising up through the ranks until she applied to become a reserve member of the sisterhood. It granted her freedoms to pursue things outside of their homeship, and the right to buy one of the El'anai ships and start her own universal crew to explore the stars with.

And explore she did, taking on various jobs as both a trade transporter and mercenary. Over time she collected a crew made up of various other steel sisters as well as a few oddball aliens that wiggled their way into jobs with the crew. The life was great, yet hard. In her crew's latest job, their ship was attacked unprepared and in order to save what crew she could, Saeta sent it hyperdriving in a random direction. In the process, she saved a handful of her crew but they are stranded orbiting the planet earth with their hyperdrive engine completely ruined. Saeta managed to find a place on the small unadvanced planet that had left remnant traces of extraterrestrial events, and in an attempt to catch their bearings, brought them to a small town called polaris pass in the hopes she might learn more about where they are, and what their options might be going forward. The crew's standing orders are to figure out as much about the world as they can, get a read on how they might go about fixing the ship, and finding other extra-terrestrials who might have ways to get them back to the stars again.

Core Advantage: XXXX can consume organic material and pull properties from that to mold its final form. Upon consuming organic material of a supernatural creature, XXXX will gain both an advantage and disadvantage from the creature. Alongside the advantage and disadvantage combo, the creature will develop more physically and mentally to be more similar to the source of the organic material. This might manifest as developing werewolf ears from consuming werewolf material, or fangs from consuming vampire material. This also affects their physical characteristics such as hair, body shape, extra limbs, and even physical sex/gender should they consume primarily male or female genetic material.

Appearance: Tall athletic woman with near white gray hair

Personality: She's an ice queen. Short and to the point, imposing presence.

Abilities: Angelic abilities tied to a holy sword.

Situation: She earns enough living expenses from her fights to take care of herself, but its actually really tight. She has little to no money for anything.

Body: Athletic but not bulky really. Most of her height comes from her legs. She has lighter skin, but isn't pale.

Face: She has a longer face, more a diamond face shape. Mostly clear skin with a smaller nose.

Hair: just past her shoulders, straight off near white gray hair.

Clothes: she wears simple white girl clothing most of the time. Jeans, shirts, cardigans.

Other: When she wields her sword, her body is covered in a suit of armor, a set of horns connected to a crown, and a blue flaming halo appears above her head.



SECTION THREE: Personality

Ice Queen: Yasmin is a bit on the standoffish side, or maybe more accurately distant and imposing. She's reserved around strangers, but that doesn't mean she's anxious or nervous. She's got a strong will and is used to focusing on her own progress and struggles, so she doesn't usually involve herself in strangers business.

Subtle: After everything she's been through, Yasmin has tempered her attitude and mannerisms. She still emotes, but its subtler and more controlled. She usually thinks ahead, plans things out well in advance where she can.

Fair and Just: Yasmin has a sore spot when it comes to injustice or the concept of being taken advantage of. She feels cheated out of her sister's life and her own soul, and knows she's being exploited for more wealth in hell regularly. She finds the concept of tricking and conning people distasteful.



Additional Information: Yasmin is focused on her problems and her schooling(Bachelor's of Criminal Justice), so her life is rather bleak. Before everything went to shit though, she had a variety of hobbies. Arts and crafts, doodling, make-up, and going to concerts. A once social butterfly with clipped wings.

Core Disadvantage: All of Yasmin's abilities are tied to her imbued weapon. If she has it stolen from her or disarmed from her person her abilities turn off until she reclaims it. It takes 10 heartbeats to summon her blade.

Bonus: imbued weapon(holy)

Nerfs and Flavor: The suit of armor is tied to having the sword actively in her hand, if she is disarmed so to are her powers and armor. Her armor is just how her Apex durability manifests itself.

Yasmin is compelled to protect the weak in physical confrontations where an injustice is taking place. Someone obviously stronger acting unreasonably in a violent or harassing way. This doesn't apply to more abstract injustices, and is more centered around the concept of acting with honor and protecting people who can't protect themselves.

Wealth: she makes enough to live, barely. School eats all of the money she makes from the fights because she is getting shafted by the demon she fights for.

History:
Yasmin was born and raised in a small town in Ohio with two sisters and both of her parents. She lived peacefully in white suburbia with hardly a thought or worry about the harsher points of life. She was popular in school, a real social butteryfly with plans to get a business degree and open a cafe or something. Then, her younger sister Jackie got cancer. Yasmin was in her second year of college at her town's local branch of the Olcott Institute. When they found out, Jackie was already stage 4 and given months to live. Yasmin was stricken with grief, and either by chance... or by design, she met a crossroads demon who managed to convince her to sell her soul to save her sister's life. And it did, save her life.... for a week. After a night of celebrating with her little sister where Yasmin had only a single drink, jackie was killed in a fatal accident with yasmin at the wheel.

Her family turned against her, holding her responsible for her sister's death as much as she did herself. In her grief stricken state, the demon who owned her soul came to offer her another deal. She could reclaim her own soul, and maybe see her sister in the afterlife when she died. All it required was for her to fight in an arena, The Pit. If she could earn enough money and souls to pay off the demon's debt, she could get her soul back. Manipulated as she was, she took the deal as well as the angelic blade the demon offered for her to fight with. Not knowing or realizing it was an archangel blade, something the demon couldn't even wield due to the blades strong divine affinity.

Over the next year she learned how to fight with no short number of dangerous situations, and swapped her major to criminal justice. When the latest branch of olcott opened in polaris pass, she took the chance to get out of her hometown and away from the scorn and grief stricken gaze of what remained of her family. Picking up in this new town, and having kept to herself so far.

Body: Skinny dude who's a bit on the paler side with an olive undertone that comes off as almost yellowish in non-flattering lighting. Positively covered in tattoos, especially around his forarms and neck.

Face: He has a lot of piercings, one in his lip, nose, and two in his left eyebrow. His hears have a smattering as well. He has softer features, and could probably pass as androgynous. Acne prone but not constantly breaking out.

Eyes: He's got dull blue eyes that can almost come off as gray.

Hair: Shaggy brown hair with lots of curls. They almost always sit pretty close to his head and obscure his eyes heavily. Its a wonder he can see most of the time.

Clothes: He wears a mixture of things that are sometimes considered more feminine, like crop tops or short shorts. He can give off femboy vibes some days, and tired oversized graphic jackets other days

SECTION THREE: Personality

Sleepy Boy: Not only is he constantly tired from working overnights and long shifts, but his depression manifests pretty hard on wanting to nap a bunch. Sometimes he spaces out because his brain wants him to pass out.

A little nihilism never hurt anyone: Adam is going nowhere in life, and he knows it. He grew up here, is gunna slave his life away here, and finally die here, probably young and alone. He's sure of it, and has mostly resigned himself to obscurity.

The Regretful Bulwark: Adam got bullied a fair bit in school, and it never got better for him. Now, he's meeker and too tired to mess with the status quo...... until he actually can't ignore someone being intensely targeted anymore. He's taken a beating or two for intervening on other's behalf even knowing it wasn't going to go well.



Additional Information: A fair number of his tattoos cover up scarring from when he was younger. His cat, greg, is his most important connection to life. Its one of the main reasons his depression hasn't won in the grand game of life.

He's never been athletic, but not for a lack of trying. A couple years of working out in the school gym netted him none of the gains he was hoping for, and he gave up on getting swole or jacked.

He doesn't get on well with his dad, who is an alcoholic. His mother passed when he was in highschool so family is a touchy subject with him.

Adam watches a lot of live streams, and has a number of only fans subscriptions he'd never openly admit to. He likes video games, but can't afford many so he plays a lot of oldies. With so many slow hours to kill late at night, he listens to true crime podcasts, audio books, and watches horror movies on his days off.

Housing: 1 room studio apartment, its dingy and cheap for a reason.

Wealth: He has to stretch his money pretty tight, but mostly because he buys things like vapes, alcohol, tattoos. Lives entirely paycheck to paycheck.



SECTION SIX: History

Date of Birth: Dec 25th

Place of Birth: Polaris Pass

History: Adam had a.... mostly normal childhood. Decent grades, single child household, and a decent interest in something marginally nerdy like comics. Just enough to get picked on, go through his emo phase that eventually just settled on grunge goth, highly stressed clothing, and eventually into more non-binary clothing that only ever got him labeled a femboy later in life. What wasn't normal was how his mother had gotten sick, terminal illness that took her slow and in pieces until eventually nothing remained. His father nigh slaved the hours away at work and the hospital to try and make payments, but eventually hospital bills swamped them with debt and they didn't float back up to the surface. His father took to alcohol to deal with the stress, and eventually to mute the grief of a lost spouse.

Adam's father handled the death no better than he, a child at the time, did. Getting violent, pushing his son away with each backhand and eventual fist. When Adam turned 16, he left the house permanently and got a job at a local grocery store while moving from couch to couch for a few years and burning most of his bridges in the process of trying to stand on his own feat. Then, he got a lucky break, if you could call it that. An opening at a shithole of a place that reeked of cigarettes, weed, and mildew for just about all of his monthly income. Finally having his own place, he carved out a small foothold for himself and managed to use that to get to where he is now. The only thing keeping him from taking a dive without a parachute was the kitten he found in a box that was being surrendered. So he spent just about anything else he could spare past living and getting his addictions supplied went into caring for his cat greg.

Just recently he finally got promoted to night manager at the grocery store after almost a decade of working there, giving him the faintest bit of spare change to let him do something other than what he normally is limited to.
