He’s legally and physically 18ish, but his more androgynous appearance can lead to some confusion. He definitely gets ID’d.
Personality
Happy-Go-Lucky: Holly is cheery, social, and obligingly helpful. He loves to love, and loves many things, including (but not limited to): himself and his Pa, all of the breads, running very fast, everything warm, borderline-hedonistic overcommitment… The list goes on. He is not fond of wrestling or shoving, though, and sort of just… cries when people are mean.
Carefree: Most of the time, Holly is an excited, unbothered individual. He doesn’t worry about much, not that he needs to, and isn’t the type to outwardly brood. Someone could commit a whole entire Mean Act against him, and he wouldn’t even cry the next day— it’s very impressive.
Clueless: Holly knows many things, really. This never includes math, sometimes includes important laws, and always includes proper milk-to-espresso ratios. And yet, somehow, despite homeschooling and his whole entire brain, Holly is nevertheless ‘a dumb baby’ who is ‘naive and very gullible’ or… something. He has yet to find this ‘clue’ thing, but Holly’s pretty sure it’s ‘cause he hasn’t seen a picture of it yet.

- Holly regenerates from most injuries within 24 hours or less, without scarring, so long as they don’t kill him. This includes regenerating body parts. Most mortal injuries would still kill him, but the healing factor can save him from bleeding out via fast clotting (etc). He may still be left with ghost pains.

- Holly’s Core is physically taxing. Small injuries are negligible, but big ones can strain his body for up to 24 subsequent hours. This usually shows up as further weakened attributes, extra hunger, memory issues, and even sleepiness (despite the Sleepless advantage).

Holiday doesn’t remember anything from the first 3 years of his life. Not his first master, the late payments, the desperate efforts to meet the cost, or the moment he was taken back by the NEK0 group. He doesn’t remember being a rental when no one bought him off the cuff, nor the regular that quickly became more than that — a buyer, if certain conditions were met. Not the rapid aging, the reprograming, the ‘cleansing’ of his body or his mind through the development of his Core. He doesn’t remember the scars that used to mar his skin, or... even his old name
All Holiday knows is that he woke up in the very gentle, very warm embrace of his new Master, a man that Holly simply refers to as Pa. He woke with more knowledge than most NEK0s do— some understanding of social rules, certain skills, some other select bits of the world. He woke with snippets of memories, too— impersonally monochrome walls, dark places, sometimes a tiny flash of feeling… invaded? Mostly, though, it’s blank, and that’s fine; according to Pa, he’s just a bakeneko, anyway.
Apparently, Pa found him at the pound, a seemingly-ordinary old cat, and nursed him back to health. After months of tending, Holly apparently woke in his arms, his transformation triggered by Pa’s tender love and care… So, who needs to remember being a stray? Pa saved him— this, Holly is sure of, and he’s nothing if not endlessly, eternally grateful. When Pa asks him to jump, Holly jumps as high as he can, no question, no hesitation, not even for a second… and it doesn’t matter to him why.
