Personality
Quiet: Ted’s old fire and chaos have long since simmered through life. He prefers quiet books and lazy mornings, though a drink at the Haunt is still good from time to time. He’s slow to anger and awkward at a party, but does well to talk quietly with a stranger. One of Teddy's favorite hobbies is hiking.
Patient: He himself is the product of patience and the good will of others, and patience is what has gotten him through his hardest moments — Army challenges, losing a limb, and suddenly gaining not one but TWO children very suddenly. He offers patience to others, and sometimes asks it of them in return.
Values Commitment: One of Ted’s biggest core values is to commitment. Whether it’s to an activity, a personal goal, a relationship, or anything else, his loyalty and dedication is rather doglike in execution. He works tirelessly to achieve what he commits himself to, though likewise he careful about what commitments he makes.
- Additional Information
- Ted still has flinch reactions to sudden loud noises, especially after a period of long silence. The reactions are usually pretty controlled, but can be visibly worse on a bad day.

- Core Advantage
- Thin Blood Still Runs
Ted is descended from an old line of werewolves, though you’d be hard-pressed to realize that without asking. However, even diluted as much as it is, thin blood still runs. It shows up in Ted as broad scale physical enhancements, rather than hybrid forms or shifting. Teddy’s body, at a baseline, operates with peak human attributes for his age and sex, regardless of his gym-going or body appearance, but with regard to any injuries etc. Any further improvements require actual effort and, if tangible, the addition of Advantages (as seen above).
- Bonus
- Took an advantage without corresponding disadvantage.
- Nerfs and Flavor
- He doesn't have Sleepless, but his heightened Endurance allows him to subsist off 4-6 hours of sleep. He can stay up for longer or sleep less time, but it'll catch up eventually.

- Boston, Massachusetts
In his early years, Theodore struggled to control his abilities in a world made for humans. Repeated conflict, often accidental, led to him feeling introverted and ostracized, which of course became a reality over time — you know how these things go. He was walking a rough path that eventually put someone in the hospital in high school, but the experience (and a serious talk with his older brother, Shawn) set him straight. He ended up enrolling in the school’s JROTC-A program after that and positively excelled.
With a new and proper outlet-turned-passion, Ted’s military career was fast-tracked. He graduated from university with high ranks in their own ROTC-A program with a degree in history and education, then launched directly into service, where he was chosen for selective and confidential positions. A year’s-or-so stint in the Netherlands, one of the few times he ever really let loose, led him to a long term fling with a woman named Poppy Edwards. However, they lost touch when he was unexpectedly chosen for a selective program and deployed almost immediately. He’d been selected to join the Army’s Delta Force at the young age of 26, and absolutely flourished under the challenges. Further information classified.
Teddy's military career, however, came to a screeching halt when he stumbled into a small land-based explosive during a solo trek. He lost his right leg from mid-thigh down and was honorably discharged from services. It took nearly two years for him to reach something close to normal. A yearish after that, he received a call from Manchester, England informing him of his child with Poppy Edwards — a little 6-7 y/o wolf-dhampir named Eden — from the child’s older half-sister, Lonnie. Of course, he took Eden in.
It was a massive learning curve, but the two have developed a close bond over the last 6-7-some-odd years. He never saw Poppy again, and frankly didn’t want to when he heard how she treated their child, her children. When he got the call about Poppy’s passing, he didn’t hesitate to reach out (again) to Lonnie. Finally, she accepted, and he made the pro-team decision to move out to family in Polaris Pass. His older brother needs the help now anyway.
