Destus was born, literally, to be a servant. To be owned. To answer to a master and do their bidding. He has moved through a few at this point, each having a different way of using him. Some only wanted him sexually. To be pleased whenever they got the urge, even if it meant bending, or being bent over in the street. Some wanted him for his strength and fighting ability. Betting him in pit fights, or using him as a bodyguard or hitman. This was and is Destus's life.
That was how he ended up falling into Richard's hands. A bet was made, one that Richard should have lost. But the slimy demon did what he does best and used his luck to come out on top. One of the winnings from that bet? Destus. Destus's ownership was transferred, along with all of the perks that come with it. Now under Richard, he has been tasked with keeping an eye out on Richard's prized contract, Yasmin. Making sure no harm comes to her outside of the Pit, especially after the latest ongoings.
